24.01.2022 AN 18-month-old girl has died after she drowned in her family pool in Holloways Beach, north of Cairns. Remenber to check the condition of your pool Fencing and Gates Emergency services were called to the home around 6.49pm on Thursday night and efforts were made to resuscitate the girl.... A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said paramedics rushed her to Cairns Base Hospital but she died on arrival. Police, who said the incident occurred in her family home, are now preparing a report for the Coroner. www.pool-safety-inspections.com.au
