25.01.2022 Thanks to Nomads for their generous offer. Brisbane 2 Byron is still operating if you need a ride.

25.01.2022 We're so happy to hear the pitter patter of rain on our tin roof, but it does't make for great beach weather. There's plenty to do in Brisbane on a rainy day but Netherworld has to be our pick! Awesome games and out of this world vegan options.

23.01.2022 The Queensland Border will close to New South Wales at 01:00am Saturday 08 August 2020. Our last service between Brisbane and Byron will be Friday 07 August 2020 until the border reopens. https://www.abc.net.au//coronavirus-queensland-bo/12518534

23.01.2022 Until further notice, our online bookings are unavailable and bus services are suspended due to the closure of the Queensland and NSW State borders and the restrictions on non-essential travel and proximity limitations put in place by the Australian Government. We are expecting to resume business in early June 2020, hopefully sooner, but this will depend on health advice given by authorities. Please contact us on +61 7 5443 4175 if you have any questions. Thank you for your u...nderstanding, Brisbane 2 Byron Express Bus

22.01.2022 We hope to be on the road Friday 10 July 2020! Anybody traveling from Byron to Brisbane will need a QLD Border Declaration Pass. You won't be able to board the bus in Byron Bay without one so please be organised before you arrive at the bus stop to avoid disappointment and delays.

21.01.2022 Well, 2020 certainly escalated Stay safe and be kind to one another!

21.01.2022 It's forecast to rain this Valentine's Day but there's still plenty to do whether you're in Brisbane or Byron! Take a cooking or pottery class, go out for a romantic meal, peruse your local art gallery, catch a movie, a live band, get tickets to the theatre or even treat yourselves to a spa day! Maybe if you're feeling a bit more active, try indoor rock climbing, bowling, mini golf or hit up the arcades! https://concreteplayground.com//the-rainy-day-guide-to-bri https://www.leezair.com//things-/new-south-wales/byron-bay

15.01.2022 Friends, Please be aware that if you have been in a declared COVID-19 hotspot in the last 14 days before you travel from Byron Bay to Brisbane, you will not be allowed into Queensland unless you qualify under the exemptions listed in the Border Pass application. The rules apply to everyone and we will not be turning the bus around to take you back to Byron Bay if you are refused entry to Queensland. If you have filled out a Border Declaration Pass fraudulently you risk a very large fine or even jail time. Please don't risk this and do the right thing.

13.01.2022 Hi Friends. If you're traveling after 01 October between Byron Bay and Brisbane, make sure you have an updated QLD Border Declaration Pass. https://www.qld.gov.au/border-pass There are several classes of passes so choose the Pass appropriate for your situation. If you're a resident of QLD or within the NSW Border Zone postcodes most likely you will need to apply for the Border Zone Travel Declaration Pass which when complete and emailed to you has an X on the top of the page like the picture below. Our drivers will ask to see your Pass before you board the bus at Byron Bay.

09.01.2022 Daylight Saving started today. Buses now depart Byron at either 1200 or 1830. Don't forget to get a Border Pass!

08.01.2022 Brisbane 2 Byron Express Bus is still open for business! Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, however, and the dramatic drop in traveler numbers, we have had to make some changes to our schedule. The easiest way to search for availability is to use the Book Your Trip section of our website to enter your departure, destination, and the date and see which services are available on your chosen day. ... If you wish to make a booking for 10 or more people on a day with limited availability, please contact us for more information. If you are traveling with us, keep in mind the following steps to keep yourself and others safe and well. Wash your hands well before boarding, or use hand sanitizer. Cough or sneeze into a tissue and throw it away, or cough/sneeze into your elbow. Avoid touching your face. Thank you for your support and we look forward to continuing to offer the friendliest, safest service, now and into the future

07.01.2022 Our online booking system is open now. Services available from 10 July 2020. Limited seat numbers to allow for physical distancing so get in quick! Look forward to seeing you all soon.

06.01.2022 We don't have many details but we are expecting changes to the Qld Entry Pass to occur at around midday on Friday 10th July. 03.01.2022 As of October 01 2020 at 0100AM, the Queensland Border Zone will be extending to residents of 5 Local Government Areas in the Northern River region of NSW, Byron Shire, Ballina Shire, City of Lismore, Richmond Valley (Casino, Evans Heads), Glen Innes Severn Shire. We will recommence our services from Friday 02 October with 2 services on Friday, 1 service on Saturday, 1 service on Sunday, and 2 services on Monday. If demand requires we may add further services during the week.... We can also make special arrangements for group bookings. Every passenger will be required to present a Queensland Border Pass and a form of ID with your residential address to the driver on departure from Byron Bay. You can apply for a pass here https://www.qld.gov.au/border-pass. Passes are valid for 7 days. Your pass can be in electronic or paper form. QLD Police will board the vehicle at the border checkpoint and ask questions regarding your whereabouts for the 14 days prior to travel. If you are refused entry to QLD we will not take you back to Byron Bay. Our vehicles are rigorously cleaned after each trip and hand sanitiser and cleaning wipes are available in each vehicle. We have decreased our seating capacity in an effort to maintain a good distance between passengers. Mask wearing is not compulsory in either QLD or NSW but they are a useful measure when social distancing is hard to maintain such as in public transport. We don’t provide masks so remember to bring your own if you feel you wish to wear one while traveling with us. More information on masks here https://www.qld.gov.au//coronavirus-covid-19/pr/face-masks https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/face-masks We’re excited to be back on the road once again and look forward to seeing you soon. https://brisbane2byron.com/

03.01.2022 We as a country, have always been good at supporting each other in times of crisis but needless to say, this bush fire season has been absolutely next level. Way too many small businesses and communities as well as our native flora and fauna have suffered throughout this ongoing tragedy. The generosity seen by our neighbours here and around the world is beyond inspiring but, it's far from over! #HolidayHereThisYear
