07.01.2022 Just a warning !!!! to people looking to put a catch can on your Diesel engine . If you are looking purchasing a catch that just has a stainless mesh or steel wool in it you are are totally wasting your time oil mist still goes throw them and only a small percent is removed . It must contain a foam or polyester Fibre media element inside to separate the oil mist from the air .Also must as contain two safety valves to stop damage to your engine . There is no such thing as a stainless steel engine air filter to remove dust so how can you use a mesh filter to filter oil mist and exhaust particle out of air . You cant soak up oil from your floor with stainless mesh . You use a cloth made from fibres to soak up oil. Do not be fooled . !!!!!!!!!
