19.01.2022 Hi Everyone An update on the current preventative measures for everyones health and wellbeing. Beach Sports management ask: ... ANYONE who enters the centre to wash their hands at the hose before entering the courts. Soap will be provided Avoid touching your face Wash your hands frequently for 20 seconds with soap and hand sanitiser We have hand sanitiser at our counter, please use this regularly Please ensure manners when coughing and sneezing (keep away from other people, cover coughs and sneezes with disposable tissues or clothing, and clean your hands) Avoid any contact with others, no high fives, stop shaking hands after a game has finished, and no touching and hugging. Be alert to any flu-like symptoms you or your family may have which may include: a sore throat runny nose fever headache shortness of breath chest tightness If you feel sick please don't come down to the centre, stay home and isolate and seek medical attention. Refer to government resources - https://www.health.gov.au//novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov-res Beach Sports suggests being proactive and preventative is the best course of action. At this stage Beach Sports staff or players ARE NOT AFFECTED or known to have been in contact with anyone affected, therefore Beach Sports will be continuing its weekly social competitions as per usual.

18.01.2022 We're excited to be back! July 10th will be a restart date for the regular season competitions to continue. We will be running under the Return to Play guidelines, and subsequent industry COVID-Safe Plans. Safety for our players and staff is our priority.... We will be implementing the following rules below: Everyone who enters the centre must wash their hands at the wash station next to the front gate. Players must enter and exit via the designated points No spectators permitted during the Stage 3 restrictions We need all players full name, phone number and post code, this is required for contact tracing purposes and it is a QLD health requirement. No "high fives" Balls will be washed after each game. On completion of your match we ask that you leave your court immediately. There will be a 5 min break between rounds for players to enter and exit. Players must leave the centre within 2 mins of the match ending. Sorry no exceptions. Send us a message to enter your team back into the roster or enter a new team

15.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Brisbane Beach Sports has our members safety as a priority and we want to help flatten the curve imposed by the current COVID-19 pandemic. We are not forced to close by the new government laws but we are taking the forward step and using common sense to help flatten the curve.
