23.01.2022 As I’m sure everyone has increasing concern over COVID 19, please rest assured that I am doing everything within my power to help stop the spread. Today I completed a certificate in Infection Control Training - COVID 19. As a boudoir photographer, who also offers hair and makeup for my clients, strict cleaning regimes are paramount. All soft props (including bed linens) are washed in between every client including a sanitising rinse and air dried in the sun when possible. Al...l hard areas (including bed frames) are wiped down with isopropyl at the end of ever session. Of course this along with strict hand washing and sanitising has and always will be a part of my SOP (safe operating procedures). Please view my post regarding COVID-19 on @brisbanemakeupartistry for my SOP and cleaning regimes if you have any concerns on having hair and makeup for your session. After completing this certificate, additional cleaning and sanitising of high traffic areas will also now be cleaned between each client. In addition to this, I kindly request that if you are feeling unwell to please cancel or reschedule your portrait session. Likewise if I am feeling unwell I will reschedule any necessary portrait sessions. If together we stand and support each other, small and local businesses, through this challenging time, we will get through this. 09.01.2022 With a heavy heart, I am closing my books while we wade through this unknown of life as we currently know it. I will still be posting and sharing my life in isolation. As I’m sure everyone knows, we don’t know how long this will be for. Please know I’m here for anyone even if to just have a chat!... As a small business owner, a lot of what I do, is on my own (albeit raising my three children) so I get it! We will feel very lonely, there will be days you just really need that human interaction.
