24.01.2022 This proposed commercial development at Eagle Farm is part of the Eagle Farm redevelopment. It has been designed to attract tenants that are drawn to the trackside location, amenity of the site and area and proximity to Brisbane Airport. It includes the proposed refurbishment of the former Managers Hut for a new restaurant or cafe. Lets see if the development gets approval and in what form, as that will determine its impact upon the suburb



24.01.2022 Another 7 Brisbane suburbs have broken the $1 million dollar mark over the past year, with our city now having 23 suburbs with a median house price of $1 million or more. New million-dollar suburbs include Bardon, Grange, Samford Valley, Clayfield, Ashgrove, Fig Tree Pocket and West End, while Balmoral slipped off the list. The Greenhouse office building design by Blight Rayner features a tinted, mirrored faade to reflect landscaping and heritage-inspired surroundings including the heritage-listed Peters Ice-Cream factory. The impact from COVID-19 on housing values has been orderly to-date, with CoreLogics national index falling only 1.6% since the recent high in April and housing turnover has recovered quickly after its sharp fall in late March and April. Brisbanes median dwelling price fell marginally by 0.4% over the past month but is still up by 3.8% over the past year
