24.01.2022 This proposed commercial development at Eagle Farm is part of the Eagle Farm redevelopment. It has been designed to attract tenants that are drawn to the trackside location, amenity of the site and area and proximity to Brisbane Airport. It includes the proposed refurbishment of the former Managers Hut for a new restaurant or cafe. Lets see if the development gets approval and in what form, as that will determine its impact upon the suburb
24.01.2022 Another 7 Brisbane suburbs have broken the $1 million dollar mark over the past year, with our city now having 23 suburbs with a median house price of $1 million or more. New million-dollar suburbs include Bardon, Grange, Samford Valley, Clayfield, Ashgrove, Fig Tree Pocket and West End, while Balmoral slipped off the list. While prestige property is strengthening in Brisbane, one of its biggest drawcards is still its affordability and value for money, especially in comparison to its southern counterparts of Melbourne and Sydney.
24.01.2022 A New Farm property recently sold for $8 million, while a Graceville property sold for $6.3 million - reportedly $2.3 million more than the suburbs sale record. Properties are selling - many off market - particularly at the premium end of the market, with high net worths looking to buy property in lieu of travelling. Interstate buyers also continue to be attracted to Brisbane due to affordability and lifestyle

There can be potential for these suburbs to grow in value as they gentrify over time, but careful selection of property is always important
13.01.2022 Prices in the Brisbane dwelling market fell by 0.2% over the June quarter, while the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast dwelling markets saw dwelling price increases of 1% and 0.7% respectively, according to CoreLogic. 11.01.2022 This house won the best new Queensland house for 2020, but it is situated just over the border in NSW! The design maximises the owners connection with nature and the neighbourhood. Challenging the traditional front and rear layout, the house was pushed to the southern edge of the block to allow a large north-facing garden to span the full length of the site. What do you think of this design?

08.01.2022 Queen's Wharf is one of Brisbane's big transformational developments, and is currently under construction. It has drawn a lot of interest, and it looks as though the residential component has also proven to be popular. Before buying into any development - and any property in fact - make sure you do thorough research to determine if it's a good investment
08.01.2022 Brisbanes house prices remained stable over the past month, and prices are still up by 3.5% over the past year, despite the impact of COVID-19. As confidence builds we believe the market will continue to hold stable and pent up demand will see prices rise in time. We are seeing more expats moving to Brisbane for lifestyle and affordability, as well as those from interstate, all of which is creating greater demand for property, which will flow through to the market

06.01.2022 One thing we have seen during this pandemic is buyers with significant money looking for bigger or safe haven properties to ride out COVID-19, and high net worths are putting money into property largely because they cant undertake other activities, such as travel. Some agents are reporting more buyers at the luxury end than ever before

In our capital city, Outer Brisbane has the tightest vacancy rate of 1.7%, with the middle ring sitting at 2.4% and the inner ring at 3.9%.
