25.01.2022 Well its looks like our BNECC G4 Sunday ride could become a regular thing judging by the turn out today A great way to learn more about group riding, improving your skills and fitness and meeting new friends...how good is that! Big thx to @db_in_bne @mayadomi Paulie Stevens and @troymenyweather for looking after the group and making it a great ride for everyone.

25.01.2022 How good is this!! Chante came up with the idea of a G4 Brooky ride and put the word out. Caro jumped on it, Audi couldn't wait for it and before long the group had grown to 18 riders. Not bad for an impromptu BNECC ride Great to have Dave and a few other G2/3 riders to lend a hand keeping it all together.... Kudos to the lot of you and particularly the organisers for making this happen

20.01.2022 Great work by the BNECC riders who have signed up to the @solarcyclistapp and are contributing to the watts generated by our team. These watts are used by Solar Cyclist to install solar power systems into homes in East Timor. We have now seen 5 homes receive solar power thx to our efforts. Thanks to the club members who have signed up to this great social cause. Great to see BNECC leading the teams category for most watts and most solar powered systems installed.... It's free...its easy...its making a difference. 17.01.2022 We had 2 big groups today on the BNECC club ride to Victoria Pt. It was all smiles at coffee but we did have an unfortunate incident in the second group with Punam @punkuks coming down quite hard. She's ok but getting everything checked out at the PA. We all wish her well and a speedy recovery. A big thankyou to everyone in the group who immediately made the scene safe by controlling the traffic and to @michellelcrispin who comforted Punam and @cherieintheworld who jumped in the ambulance with Punam.

14.01.2022 Last Sunday @imogen_alton completed an #everesting challenge climbing 9131m in 12 hours an amazing feat of cycling endurance. Imogen took on the challenge to raise awareness of ALS and funds to support her mum who has recently been diagnosed with this disease. Well done Imogen and on behalf of all members of Brisbane Cycling Club...Kudos!!

14.01.2022 The BNECC race team Entrago is holding 2 sessions on consecutive Saturdays (2 and 9 Jan 21) for new members who are thinking on starting to race in 2021. 14.01.2022 Yesterday @damien.vesely achieved a rare feat...he won his first A grade crit at Muzz and in doing so made it a complete set of victories at Muzz with wins in A, B, C and D grade. To make this even more spectacular it took him less than 2 years having won in D grade in August 2018 before rapidly moving through the grades. He has had numerous other fine wins but we all know it's Muzz where it really counts ... Congrats Damo from all of us at BNECC

13.01.2022 Message from Jemma Brown (Co-club Captain) BNECC Ladies, The Brisbane Cycling Club men’s team Entrago is hosting two specific training sessions this Saturday and next Saturday morning at Murrarie (full details on the Club App). I will be there to lend a hand and assist with the ladies! ... These sessions are heavily focused on skills used when racing like sprints but will also help with your general bike handling and confidence so you can continue to work to improve your overall skill in the bunch. There is limited availability so I’d love to see more ladies fill up these spots. Do not miss this opportunity to learn some great info from some of the experienced riders of the club and chat to us about any questions you may have about your training. 13.01.2022 @teamapp has been our primary communication platform for the Club for the past 6 years. We were the first Qld cycling club to recognise its potential and remain one of the largest users in the country. Amazing to see that today alone 159 club members have accessed it with over 300 in the past month. With over 12,500 screen views in October already the utility of this App is obvious as is the member engagement. 11.01.2022 Well it was a blustery morning at Muzz today but this didn't deter our racing group from pinning on a number and having a crack at the Metro Championships Criterium. The day couldn't have got off to a better start for BNECC with Ryan Thomas winning the first race of the day the Men's Elite A race which was full of hitters. From there we saw a steady stream of outstanding results as follows:... 10.01.2022 With so many new members joining up and getting along to our BNECC bunch rides we're running a Skills and Introduction to Bunch Riding this Sunday at Muzz starting at 6.30am. Our qualified Community Coach and Ride Leader @biggswarren will be running it and all new members and those that would like a refresher are encouraged to attend. 08.01.2022 Big congrats to @ryanthomas22 from BNECC racing for @aca_cycling who competed in the Tour of the Tropics last weekend in Cairns. Ryan finished 2nd in Stage 1 a 95km Kermesse race and backed that up with a win in Stage 2 a 60min crit. No overall winner awarded but great to see Ryan in such great form as racing recommences.

08.01.2022 At BNECC we encourage all our members to have insurance coverage when riding their bikes. Be it through @cyclingaustralia or @bicycle_qld its good to know you are covered. @bicycle_qld are running a promotion at the moment with a chance to win $1,000. 07.01.2022 How good is this!!! Today @jennanotjinna competed in her very first cycle race a 32km handicap road race. As if pinning a number on for the first time isn't scary enough it poured just before the start but Jenna was determined to race and race she did.... It's great to see our members and particularly our ladies setting new goals and achieving them. Great support there from @jonathan_salhani

01.01.2022 This post makes me so proud to be a part of Brisbane Cycling Club. To introduce new riders to the joy of group cycling and the camaraderie of being part of a club is so rewarding. BNECC puts as much focus and effort into its social riding as it does its racing group.... Having started riding in our G4 Friday club ride @guerrelra has participated in a club run skills session run by one of our community coaches @biggswarren and attended the recent BNECC bike maintenance course run by @bicycle_qld Our G4 is a great introduction to group riding and has grown significantly in recent weeks thx to the effort of our ride leaders including @mayadomi @biggswarren and @db_in_bne
