11.01.2022 There is HEAPS of parking when you visit the Brisbane Garden & Plant Expo 2021 in March at Rocklea Showgrounds. Julia Bailey, Principal of Rocklea State School and her team of wonderful parent helpers and volunteers, will be managing the car parking for the event. They just ask for a gold coin donation and all money raised goes back to the school. Plenty of disabled parking will be available.... This year, the school raised enough funds from the carparking of our 2020 event, to roll out some amazing outdoor programs for the children. This is what it is all about. Giving back to the local community, supporting our young people and helping them connect to the outdoors. Also, do not forget to pick up a couple of the YUMMY rock cakes that the school will also have for sale. Perfect with a cuppa for morning or afternoon tea.
