14.01.2022 This year, Diabetes Australia has launched a campaign to raise awareness of the real impact diabetes can have on a person’s mental and emotional wellbeing. They estimate that people with diabetes face up to 180 diabetes-related decisions every day. That’s more than 65,000 extra decisions a year! If you have diabetes and feel frustrated, sad, worried, down, or depressed, you're not alone. Professional support is available, so please reach out. The early detection and treatment of diabetes is important to reduce the risk of serious complications. If you haven't been previously diagnosed with diabetes and are showing possible symptoms such as increased thirst, urination, and tiredness, or have slow-healing wounds or persistent infections, it's a good idea to book an appointment with your GP to arrange a simple blood test.

We want to protect each other from all viruses circulating, and the best way to do this is to isolate until you are feeling better
