17.01.2022 Thanks to those who allowed me to take their pic pic at the Invasion Day march and celebration at Musgrave Park. As a community photographer I believe I have a responsibility to use my lens as a tool for education, awareness and social change. My images at the march and celebration this year capture the diversity of those who stand in solidarity with First Nations peoples struggle for justice and recognition in this ancient land.... Each year I am humbled by requests for photos from Elders and others who trust my work and professional ethics to use their images as part of communal storytelling. There are also those who come into my lens in public space often unaware that I have captured a moment of their life story in this larger narrative. To these too I am grateful and hope that fiends will pass these pics on.
