As sophisticated and profound as anything by Tony Bennett, Brad combines PhD intellect with caveman machismo, mixed in a blender of pure swing, guaranteed to grab even the most Sinatra-proof listener way down at the bottom of their soul. What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon from 2.30pm to 7pm.

12.01.2022 To our wonderful Brisbane Jazz Club Patrons, I refer to the recent announcement on the easing of restrictions on Clubs from 1 person to each 4 square metres to 1 person to each 2 square metres. We had hoped this would double the current capacity of the Club inside, however, we have received clarification that social distancing of 1.5 metres between non-group persons must be maintained. This means that the inside seating capacity of the Club could only be increased from 58 to 71. Telephone bookings remain necessary at this time. This is only a small improvement but we are hopeful of further easing soon. Paul Day, President

05.01.2022 Friday 4th December - Caxton Street Jazz Band Caxton Street Jazz Band has been entertaining audiences for over 40 years with their hot jazz style, crisp arrangements and tight ensemble playing. Their broad repertoire of jazz classics from the 1920s to the 1950s includes mainstream, swing, trad/New Orleans revival and blues. The favourite and familiar names of Bernice Haydock, Tom Nicolson, John Braben, Paul Williams, Andrew Shaw and Dave McCallum complete the quality line-up.
