10.01.2022 COVID19 UPDATE Due to new government regulations regarding COVID-19, the safety of our patients and staff are of the upmost importance to us. Please be ensured, strict infection control practices have been implemented.... The number of patients in our waiting room has been reduced to 4 patients at any time. Where possible we ask that only the patient attend the appointment. (If you are under the age of 18 years or elderly, then 1 parent/carer may attend). We ask all our patients to ensure they are ready for their appointment ie. Complete your paperwork and email it back prior to your appointment. Arrive at the time of your appointment, not before. If the waiting room is full we will ask that you wait outside. On arrival, please sanitise your hands with the sanitiser provided at the hospital entrance or at our reception. Most importantly, if you are experiencing any flu like symptoms, have returned from overseas in the past 14 days or have had contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, please call to reschedule your appointment as you will not be permitted to attend the practice. Dr Macgroarty will continue to consult and operate under the guidelines provided by the federal government and QLD health. Under the new Medicare guidelines, phone and facetime consultations for patients may be provided for those patients that meet the criteria. Please call our office for further information.
