18.01.2022 Parents Perspective Deep understanding. And even after diagnosis, and treatment it continues into life. That’s the thing that people don’t understand... it doe...sn’t end when you go home. I’ve had many people say to me ‘oh, I thought it was over for you guys now’, and so I educate them, carefully, so as to avoid sounding as though I’m complaining or criticising. Because I’m not. It is what it is. Every day I’m grateful. Not resentful. But perhaps I am a little frustrated that majority of people don’t really understand and there isn’t enough awareness. It doesn’t end. It’s that constant fear, that ache of a sleeping monster that at any moment can rise and rip your heart from your chest. It’s walking a fine line between living each day to the fullest, to living in fear, wanting to vomit at the thought of the possibilities.... Hannah mother to Aaron. #childhoodcancerawareness Awareness=Funding=Research=Treatments that HEAL and do no harm With gratitude to Hannah for sharing so honestly.

13.01.2022 Wow! Big days and so many big hearts! Craig ended up at Waterwheel Beach Tavern at Lake Tyres where he was well looked after and given opportunity to spe...ak publicly about the Craig's K's for Cancer mission! Massive shoutouts to the owners; Tony Carroll, Stuart Derham & Kev Campbell! Also to Mel & Wannas! And not forgetting Andy Rigg- another outstanding member of the police force promoting and supporting Craig's K's! You might recognise Scott Kingman! He's the lead guitarist from the Screaming Jets, & runs the LTB General Store with the lovely Lundy Moore. These guys kindly treated Craig to a delicious lunch yesterday.. Thankyou to Renee from Lakes Entrance Woolworths for the grocery gift card enabling Craig to stock up on some much needed essentials! Dean Lane & Keiron Wilmot know firsthand the importance of funding for Ronald McDonald House, and Sandra at Nowa Nowa General Store shares the determination to fight brain cancer! It's amazing how many people appreciate the #craigsksforcancer cause!!! Thankyou! See more
11.01.2022 The amazing stuff you learn from Phd students studying NO (Nitric Oxide). Did you know that you would have to eat 2kgs of leafy green vegetables every 4 hours... to get the same NO production equivalent to 1ml of Kyani Nitro? What is NO you ask? Nitric oxide has been shown to be important in the following cellular activities: Help memory and behavior by transmitting information between nerve cells in the brain Assist the immune system Regulate blood pressure by dilating arteries Reduce inflammation Improve sleep quality Increase your recognition of sense (i.e. smell) Increase endurance and strength Assist in gastric motility http://www.nutritionexpress.com/showarticle.aspx #HealthyWealthyLife #fueledbynitro. #moreenergythanmykids #stilleatmygreensthough

01.01.2022 Through the years Steven Sykes has enjoyed an active lifestyle- mountain biking, skiing, trail running and playing golf along with his two children and wife Lau...ra. In January of 2014 he ran and completed his last race, and later that year he was diagnosed with ALS. Steven’s ALS diagnosis may have physically slowed him down, but it hasn't stopped him! He is truly taking life by the horns, and he’s our 2019 Shoot Out ALS Sporting Clay Shoot Honoree! Join us on March 25th at the Greater Houston Gun Club for an afternoon clay shoot followed by cocktails, dinner, auctions and awards. - Sign up for our Sporting Clay Shoot https://alstexas.ejoinme.org/shootoutals - Read more of Steven's story https://www.alstexas.org/als-hero-steven-sykes/
01.01.2022 I believe that we are here for a higher cause. And I believe that someday we're going to stand before someone and they're going to ask us what we did with our ...lives. And I think that they're going to not be as interested in how much money we earned or what kind of car that we drove as how many people we helped. - Kirk Hansen, Kyäni Founder See more
