24.01.2022 A short film made with the support of BMM - the narrative comedy; A Screenplay About Something. When a poverty-stricken screenwriter surviving on tinned soup and Tim Tams is inspired to write an original screenplay, he must sell it to a narcissistic movie producer with his own inspirations. https://youtu.be/7Hl1b_1Mr-I

15.01.2022 DO YOU HAVE ANY PHOTOS, VIDEO OR FILM OF QUEENSLAND TRAINS? URGENT REQUEST FROM THE ROYAL HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF QUEENSLAND ... Our next exhibition will be on Trains, to recognise and remember Jeff OMara. One theme of this exhibition is on train journey stories. I would like this theme to be an audio visual display on a TV close to the vitrine with the train exhibition. I am looking for people who are interested in participating in this exhibition, by sharing any interesting train journeys you may have. If you are interested in collaborating with a story, you can either record your story on your smart phone (simply download a voice recording app), or if you would prefer me to record your story whilst we have a chat, I am available at the Commissariat Store on Fridays. I am also looking for any photos, film / video and memorabilia you may have, that you are happy for us to borrow and to be displayed to the public. Please contact me on 0409 496 013 or [email protected] if you have any questions or would like to share any information. Thanks so much. Sam Rowe Volunteer Exhibitions Curator RHSQ

05.01.2022 Great News Everyone! My little low budget feature film (which nearly killed me in post production) has now been put on vimeo (at last!) in Australia as a streaming movie on demand (along with the trailer) and is available now for rent or buy at very nice prices! Im very excited about this and absolutely thrilled! I would have liked a little more notice but with Covid 19 meaning more are staying in and renting, the distributor wanted it available for this weekend and its bee...n a mad rush over the last month getting the final files through (e.g. such things as subtitles in various languages). Its also available on UK Amazon and US Amazon as a streaming movie now too. I hope as many of you as possible check it out. Please leave comments here, or on www.facebook.com/immortalitythemovie (and like that too if you want) or post your own review (there or anywhere) and link to the film as well on your own page if youd really like to be helpful! Im sorry it has taken so long to happen but I spent ages being sick (Im still on disability at this point in time) and not giving Adler(my distributor) the large list of files they needed. So much of the delay has been from my end. I so look forward to hearing what any of you have to say about it! Whether good or bad. (I know its not perfect but its the best I can do. Please tell all your family and friends and even better; watch it with them! Finally I would love to give a big shout of thanks and appreciation to all the cast and crew for all their hard work during not just the 8 months of pre production or the 2 weeks of production but also the 3 years of post production as well as their patience over the years since as Ive secured a distributor and eventually finalised finishing/delivering the film to them according to their requirements. In particular Marie Adler, Brett Montgomery, June Tretheway, Melanie Selby, Emmanuel Blanco and Oki Pienandoro Susilo As well as to all the locations and prop providers. Id also like to thank the many members of Brisbane Movie Makers (BMM) for all their hard work through the production phase. https://vimeo.com/ondemand/immortalitymovie
