22.01.2022 George is recovering with Holly after a fracture repair. Cats can wake up quite stressed and roll and jump around. So important to ensure they have the right amount of medication and monitoring post surgery until they are safe to be back by themselves in their cage. I think George quite enjoyed his cuddles. Thanks to D.A.R.E Rescue for taking on this boy.

19.01.2022 Meet Oliver our very brave little fighter. Oliver was hit by a car and transferred to us the next day for pelvic fracture repair and his poor abdomen was torn away from his pelvis. We then discovered that Oliver seemed to be paralysed in his back legs. Another speciality centre for CT of his spine. Things did not look good for Oliver and he may never have feeling in his back legs. We operated on Oliver the next day with a huge abdominal surgery to repair the herniation and days later wonderful news..... Oliver began wagging his tail and had some movement in his back legs. Oliver has a brace coming to help him walk and next week we will operate on his pelvis. Oliver just makes our heart sing, what a fighter, his owners are taking such great care of him and we cannot wait to see Oliver walking again. Stay tuned for more......

17.01.2022 Gorgeous Lola came in quite unwell an xray showed she had bladder stones. Today she had surgery and this brave girl had these sized stones removed. Some perspective Lola weighs 8.3kg what a brave girl, she sure will be feeling better.

16.01.2022 Hello Tiger what a handsome boy and such a lucky cat. His story: his owner was driving and saw a box moving on the side of the road it was not windy so he investigated the box. He found this boy taped up inside a box and took him straight to the rspca where they treated him for dehydration. He then adopted Tiger. A happy ending for this big boy.

13.01.2022 It was ladies day today in the surgery suite, Billie, Lexie, Layla and Lola. These four divas underwent Orthopaedic Surgery, third eyelid tumour removal and entropian. They were all super smoochy and courageous.

11.01.2022 Absolutely love our clients contacting us with great results. Soft Palate surgery for Buffy..... We finally took Buffy for her usual long walk today and she sounds amazing!! Usually after getting home shed be very loud and heavy breathing and pacing from just being so uncomfortable and hot but this time she is quiet, relaxed and happy. She also loved the fact she could smell so many things on her walk. Here is a video of her at home after her long walk. I reckon we can sta...rt going longer now, shell love it! Thank you all so much for this. Its genuinely life changing for Buffy and Im looking forward to being able to take her on more adventures with us. Youve also made our sleep so much more peaceful as her snoring is actually tolerable now

09.01.2022 Not just a cute image of Sam relaxing.... He is 12yrs old and was booked in for a dental, his owners were happy to proceed to check his bloods. He was shown to have the beginning of kidney disease so Sam stayed with us a few nights for intravenous fluids and had his dental when his kidney function was better. Discovering this early gives Sam a better chance of living out many more years with the correct diet for his aging kidneys. As you can see Sam was none too fussed and was kicking back enjoying all his pats and cuddles from staff.

08.01.2022 Meet Relik and Bronte, Relik had life saving surgery today to remove her spleen her red blood cell level was dangerously low. Bronte has helped by donating blood so we could safely proceed with surgery. 03.01.2022 We are so pleased that 11yo Dexter is on the mend. He was unwell a few weeks ago and became quite sick during that period of time, requiring a procedure under anaesthetic and many vet checks. His owners have done a marvellous job in taking care of him and Dexter is now happy at home.

01.01.2022 Charlie is just 10 weeks old and came in for a fracture repair. She was the sweetest thing slept most of the day away and loved cuddles. She has a big recovery to get through as now confined to a crate not what poor Charlie is expecting who would love to be out and about with her boundless energy.
