25.01.2022 Game Cancelled as a result of rain - 20/21st June 2020 Unfortunately this weekends game has had to be cancelled as a result of rain. Unfortunate in that we have 16 players ready to go. Next game is next weekend being 27/28 June - all welcome.

21.01.2022 I am sad to announce that one of our founding members is retiring from the game. Bill Stinchcombe has been a great supporter and player of the game for over 50 years and for the past 5 within our club. He has been a strong advocate and mentor for the young and those just starting out. His regular presence will be missed. We wish him and his family well. Having played for 50 years he has accumulated a vast array of polo and equine tack/equipment that he now wishes to sell. 4 h...orse float, bridles, saddles, bits, blankets, halters, ropes etc - all of it very well maintained. Bill can be contacted on 0417 204 190

21.01.2022 Weekend 27/28th June 2020 Just confirming there is a game this weekend at the club field. QPA should put out a nomination form shortly. Last week we had 16 players all of which have indicated they are playing this weekend - so all welcome

17.01.2022 Great way to get an easy intro into horse riding and polo - awesome scenery and great people

16.01.2022 Dear All, good news - we are back on for the first game on the 20/21 June. We may have to stagger the games (ie 10am, noon and 2pm) to allow for roll in and out... in compliance with the virus rules. As always only QPA members can join - so please join asap. More details and the updated QPA calendar in the coming days. Cheers Chris 0408 332 988

06.01.2022 Virus Update SUBJECT TO FURTHER GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCEMENTS (CAVEATS BLAH) Looks like things are finally looking up in terms of restrictions being lifted. At this stage community sports in general should be open again on the 6/7th June (or a week later) and the season can resume from there. ... Warwick (BPEC home field at Eagleby) has confirmed he can have the field ready on two weeks notice with chukkas/games starting when we have the numbers. Please ensure you log onto the QPA web page (https://queenslandpolo.com.au/) and renew your membership under the BPEC banner - as I suspect it will be a lean year for club finances and we will need as much coin as possible as soon as possible to meet our commitments to the field. Those that are intending to play this season could you please reply to this post so we can gauge numbers for the year. Time to come out from under the blanket....

04.01.2022 Dear All, With current restrictions in place preventing travel - no polo for the foreseeable future. Stay well and safe... Chris

03.01.2022 Special Thanks to Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC) The QRIC is an independent statutory body which oversees the integrity and welfare standards of racing animals and racing industry participants in Queensland. We are proud to collaborate with the QRIC to rehouse "off the track" race horses and give those animals a healthy happy life in polo (and equestrian generally) post their racing careers. As a club and active members of the equine community we applaud the Q...ueensland Government's initiative in helping to ensure a better quality of life for all racing animals (inc the dish lickers) now and into the future. On behalf of the club, it is my special honor to thank the QRIC for their funding grant which has allowed us to purchase 44 de-mountable horse panels that will be used for overnight horse accommodation during the playing season and horse training yards in the off season. For those travelling to the BPEC games in the coming months - we are now able to offer safe and secure overnight accommodation moving forward.

02.01.2022 BPEC AGM Notice of AGM Apologies for the short notice however our AGM is to be held Thursday 21st November 2019 beginning at 4pm. All welcome.... Meeting will be held on Warwick's front deck.
