15.01.2022 Lets say goodbye to Term 2. To say the past 12 weeks have been difficult would be unjust. As a College, there have been many challenges. We fully understand how difficult these times have been for our Students and we are proud of the way in which our staff have adapted and worked together to meet the challenges thrown their way. Many students have shown their determination to study during such trying times and have continued to attend their classes and complete their units d...espite managing their personal challenges. We need to make a special mention of Nicolas who has shown leadership and professionalism in his online tutorials. Nicolas was asked in early March to prepare for online sessions and within 2 weeks had adapted his usual face to face sessions to online which meant the College could suspend face to face theory sessions until we had a clear idea of the risk of the virus. Geoff also has worked extremely hard as he has doubled the delivery of his daily practical classes so that we could restrict the number of students per session. Overall , Nicolas and Geoff have done an outstanding job and we are so proud to have both men working in our team. Lets look forward to a new Term of study commencing on 13 July where all classes will return to the pre-COVID schedule and all will be face to face. Our Townsville Campus will also be hosting its first cohort of students who will commence their studies on 13 July. Enjoy your 2 weeks break. If you have assessments due, please use the holidays to submit your work. Regards BPC Team
