23.01.2022 For those who may be interested in our Denomination's view on this topic, here's a great breakdown released recently by our South Pacific Division.

23.01.2022 This week we look at the only offensive weapon in the Armour of God. The Sword of the Spirit/Word of God helps fend off any attacks Satan may cast our way as well as allowing us to go on the attack against his lies. If we truly know God as Hes found in His Word, we can stand firm in this battle of minds.

22.01.2022 Hey Church Family, I pray that this finds you all feeling well during this stressful time. Due to whats happening around the world at the moment with the Covid-19 virus theres been all sorts of emergency meetings happening regarding our churches across Australia. Due to the high chance of this virus being passed on to those who are vulnerable within our communities, the decision has been made by the Seventh-day Adventist Australian Union to close all our churches from this ...Saturday. At the moment the decision is to close the church until the end of April. We are hoping to be able to reopen in May but will reassess as we get closer. Please see the attached doc from the Presidents. While this will be very different for us over the coming months I would like to really encourage each of us to remember that church is not the building that we worship in, but rather it is us as a family supporting and encouraging one another wherever we are. We know our God is in control and He will see us through. This is not a time to stress out, but rather to draw closer to Him and be the arms and feet of Jesus in our communities. Due to us no longer being able to meet together, our Facebook group will be our main means of communication. So please check that regularly to keep up to date and also in communication. We will be looking at live-streaming options over the next few weeks but we will also provide some options for you to watch on Sabbath Mornings. I know there are a number of options currently available and more are working on it. So please keep checking Facebook for those links. In order for us to be able to stay in contact Ill also be providing a link on our Facebook page for a contact details form for you to fill out. Please do this and encourage as many as possible who attend our church to do so. Over this time I know many will be struggling financially but for those who want to still give their tithes and offerings, you may do so via the egiving website or app. Just search for our church name and you can give electronically. https://egiving.org.au Let us focus on Philippians 4:6 Dont worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. It's about God loving us so much that He came down and became one of us. He has linked Himself to us for all eternity. Let's always remember the greatest Gift of all - Jesus. Attached is a great resource (from the Victoria Youth Dept) that you can use with your families, as couples, or even personal devotion. Print... out the images and cut out the 'cards.' Every morning read through the 'days' card and complete the activity during the day. Then pin them up on twine or a board as you complete them. It's a great way to spend time as a family or with friends. Please use these and share them around as I know they can be a massive blessing during this special time of the year.
