20.01.2022 This really is a thing! I have been through it myself. Along with any other permanent makeup procedure or tattoo, the eyebrows will go through a healing process for about 7-10 days. Everybody’s skin heals differently due to skin type, lifestyle, overall health and if the aftercare was followed properly. Day 1-4: brows will appear darker/bolder at first. Day 5-7: Brows will begin to crack/flake/peel. Intensity of this phase depends on the clients individual skin, as we...ll as the style or technique chosen. Ombré or shaded brows tend to peel more noticeably due to the fact that it has been more filled in, opposed to smaller single hairstrokes with microblading. Day 8-10: After the peeling stage, the brows will appear lighter in colour. There is still a layer of dry skin over top, filtering out the colour. The pigment will continue to resurface and come through more over the next couple weeks. Day 30: Colour should be fully resurfaced and brows completely healed. A touchup should be no sooner than this day. I provide a complimentary touchup at 6-8 weeks to perfect and add any finishing touches.
