The Brisbane Showgrounds are looking for happy, energetic and enthusiastic people to work on a casual basis during the Royal Queensland Show (Ekka) which runs from Friday 7 August to Sunday 16 August 2015. We have a variety of positions on offer requiring differing skills and experience but all require a passion for people and the ability t...o provide excellent service to our customers. These are just some of the roles: Ticket Sellers/Gate Scanners Crowd Ushers Concierges Event Set-Up Crew (Labourers) Cash Handling and Working on a Register Some of these roles require previous specialist experience and for others training will be provided. 22.01.2022 We are still looking for people to act as Volunteers for Ekka on behalf of the Cancer Council Queensland. We have two shifts available (morning and afternoon) from 5th to 14th August. For each shift you volunteer for, you will receive free entry to Ekka plus an extra free ticket at the end of your shift. You will be helping to raise funds for the Queensland Cancer Council.
