21.01.2022 Such a beautiful day today, perfect for our planned outing with the Bling Queen (N.B. we are not permitted to tour, today’s outing was just me and business partner/husband, both of us from the same household). We must take the trike out and keep the fuel from getting stale by ensuring we are regularly topping up (thanks to Oz Kastner of Oz Trikes for the advice). It’s a chore, but someone’s got to do it! We even took an old fashioned home made picnic and stayed well away from other people due to there being a bit of an outbreak of COVID too close to home for comfort. The Bling Queen seemed to enjoy her nice mixed freeway/back roads run to Brisbane’s pretty bayside area at Wellington Point.

20.01.2022 Well, at least we can take the trike out ourselves!

20.01.2022 We haven't forgotten about our passengers with bookings still outstanding. Just as soon as we can, we will be back touring our beautiful part of the world. We will nevertheless exercise caution and may modify how we organise our tours to maintain as much social distancing as possible. But as with everyone, it's still all such a moveable feast at the moment. We trust all our wonderful passengers, past and still to come, stay well during this pandemic.

17.01.2022 ***UPDATED SATURDAY 10 OCTOBER 2020*** Just to reassure our customers who have pre Nov 1 2019 gift vouchers or post Nov 1 2019 Tour Certificates, all expiry dates have been automatically extended for six months beyond the expiry stated on their voucher/certificate. We continue to regularly review the necessary administrative and any other activities required which might enable us to recommence operations. Early in September 2020 we had spoken at length with a representative ...from Qld Health and had confirmation that our business, even though open air, is one where maintaining the 1.5m social distancing between our passengers and rider, or two passengers not from the same household, is still mandatory. Given the close proximity of our passengers to the rider whilst the tour is running, and the necessity to assist our passengers with their helmets, jackets and getting on and off the trike, it was deemed by Qld Health to be impossible for us to safely distance. We continue to receive enquiries for bookings we cannot at present accept so we know that as soon as we are permitted to do so, our business will be up and running again. As virus transmission numbers continue to trend downwards, we are hopeful that we may be able to present a way of keeping our passengers safe and adhere to guidelines in the future so we can recommence our tours. We also would like to thank most wholeheartedly our current passengers waiting to be able to take their postponed tours and appreciate their patience. See more
