22.01.2022 Great news! This Sunday's service will be in person (in real life) at 10am at the party room at Coorparoo Village, courtesy of resident and BUUF member Lynne Hurst. We will meet at on Sunday 9 May at 10 am. And don't forget our Saturday afternoon Asia Pacific Zoom meeting led by Rev Clay Nelson (see post below). This Sunday's service includes a sermon by Rev. Aaron White of First Unitarian Universalist Church of Dallas that we think will be inspiring for BUUF members and fr...iends. The topic is Unitarian Universalism 101. Coorparoo Village is at 398 Cavendish Rd., Coorparoo, with the entry on Goring St. (around the corner). There is a small parking lot and plenty of street parking. From the entrance, walk straight up the incline to the big building on the left. Someone will let you in and guide you to the room. No food can be shared in the meeting room, but Lynne has invited us back to her apartment in the complex after the service to enjoy our first "coffee hour" in a long time. Bring something to share if you can. Call Lynn on 0439 976 582 or Helen on 0418 155 110 if you need directions. We will also be trialling using Zoom in combination with the in-person meeting. 22.01.2022 Beautiful chalice lighting words this month from the Portuguese speaking Unitarians.

21.01.2022 Another beautiful explanation of care for all living things and all creation from the Australian indigenous perspective. It meshes so sweetly with the 7th UU Principle, respect for the interdependent web of all life, of which we are a part.

07.01.2022 https://www.facebook.com/revsusanfrederickgray/videos/348737536195159 Biggest thanks for the huge efforts by US Unitarian Universalists in combatting voter suppression in the US election.

04.01.2022 Today to celebrate NAIDOC Week, and the theme Always Was, Always Will Be, in our service we explored the indigenous concept of connection to the land, through the eyes of Jamie Penny, a Mununjali and Kooma man. This video shared by Jamie is the best explanation of the concept that I have ever heard.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0sWIVR1hXw
