16.01.2022 Not much wind today, but still great to be on the water sailing. We have a Corsair in our ranks now, so if anyone is watching our posts, and doesn’t yet have a boat but would like to give sailing a try, let us know and you can crew for me on the Corsair. Can take 2 people, maybe 3, size depending. Next race day I think is 20th feb

11.01.2022 Sailing this Saturday 23rd Jan Hi Everyone, No doubt you are all itching to get out, and as the Brisbane lockdown has ended, we are sailing this Saturday. The forecast is 4 ~8 knots easterly with 10% chance of rain. We will have the boat out with the new engine so can help out anyone in trouble. Come along whether you want to race or just sail around and enjoy the serenity.... Cheers Peter

06.01.2022 Wivenhoe Sailing Marathon Date Claimer The Brisbane Valley Sailing Club is actively planning for its Marathon weekend to go ahead on the 5th and 6th of June, subject to adequate water level in the Dam and no Covid lockdown. The event is open to all off the beach and trailable boats, with camping on site and B&B or motel accommodation nearby. The event has been well supported and successful in the past, though cancelled last year due to Covid. More information and NOR etc will be published nearer the date, so keep an eye on this site.
