But for us what makes all the challenging moments so worthwhile is seeing our couples special day come together perfectly, regardless of any changes of plan that restrictions created. 06.01.2022 With the end of the year suddenly seeming so very close, I can’t help but reflect on 2020 so far. There was a point in time earlier this year when everything was being rapidly restricted and weddings were coming to a screeching halt. I remember thinking what will our couples do if they can’t get married and what will we do if weddings are stopped altogether? While restrictions were put in to place hard and fast, thank goodness throughout this whole time couples in QLD always ...had the right to still get married. I can’t imagine how it must have felt for those in other states and countries to be denied the simple right to marry. With or without the wedding celebrations they had envisioned. I am full of gratitude for the year that has been, it hasn’t been without its challenges but they are already beginning to feel like a distant memory. My heart is so full from all the amazing weddings that we didn’t know for sure would happen, but they did and all the incredibly lovely and appreciative couples who have trusted in us and have shown us so much kindness - I will be forever grateful.
