21.01.2022 The Perfect Wedding I tell you what, COVID-19 has taken the 'perfect wedding' rule book, stomped on it & kicked it to the kerb. I know I know, you’ve spent 12 months or more planning the perfect day NOTHING is going to go wrong, you’ve literally cried tears over the planning of your big day and you probably feel like throwing in the towel. But hang in there, I think when planning a wedding we would all like everything to go just perfectly, but in reality, that’s just not what... weddings are really like, even pre COVID-19. There are a thousand little things that could potentially throw a spanner in the works for you on your wedding day and it’s your choice as to whether you roll with the punches, put a smile on your dial and enjoy your day regardless. I’ve seen everything go wrong that could go wrong from Priests running late to wedding cars breaking down, even the brides flowers needing a total redo arriving with 5 minutes to spare ! 20.01.2022 To all my legendary couples, It’s now official that weddings and events, along with schools, bar, cafes, restaurants, gyms, etc will all be shut down and for ho...w long, we cannot predict. This means that all of us in the wedding industry have had to put our lives on hold, as I'm sure many of you have as well. This is unprecedented. And so upsetting that many upcoming weddings will not be able to go ahead as planned, which is absolutely devastating for couples, their families and their wedding vendors. We all need to respond to this challenging situation with compassion, kindness and understanding. Guys, I am with you in this. I will look after you as best I am able to. I will talk to you the entire way, plan it with you and cheer you over the finish line when we get there. We have to start thinking about this laterally, I am offering my affected couples the ability to transfer fees paid across to a new date in the future. However, as we’re booked so far out from weddings (12-18 months), the longer these restrictions remain imposed, the more weddings will stack up and there will be less available spots to transfer them to. Wedding vendors of Australia have banded together and are talking about how to make this work out the best it can for everyone. How we can ensure you still have an awesome wedding at a future date- with your existing A team of suppliers. The most practical answer is to postpone your wedding to a Monday to Thursday, rather than the wildly popular traditional Saturday time slot. (I will re book to a Saturday wherever possible) Some of my awesome couples are already looking at midweek weddings and I love you for it ! This means: 1) You still get married in the awesome manner you wanted- with all your people there, able to share the love freely. 2) You retain the A Team of vendors you chose. 3) You are supporting the small businesses you chose as your team. These are extraordinary times and we feel the same as you- concerned, sad, overwhelmed and fearful. But you are not alone in this. And we have to plan for what’s to come. Where possible I will accommodate new dates transferring existing payments etc but you may need to have more than one option (1 or 2 potential dates) Please talk to you vendors. Talk to me . Please be flexible and considerate of constraints. Let’s look after each other. We want to look after you. We want to marry you and for it to be an awesome experience. You are not alone in this. Weekday weddings are a total vibe. The new black. Thursday wedding- Friday off work to recover and still have the entire weekend ahead. When life gives you lemons...

13.01.2022 Well 2020 sure has kicked our butts so far, how are you fairing with your wedding plans ? I know a lot of my clients have postponed their weddings to later this year or even next year. Others are powering on with smaller numbers. 08.01.2022 So these two legends got married at The Refinery on Saturday.. Ben & Brad what a fabulous day ! One of my favourite moments was when Danielle from Your Story C...elebrant asked Ben if he'd take Brad to be his lawfully wedded Husband Ben answered with a "F*** Yes !!" - Needless to say everyone cheered loudly and many many drinks were had ! Danielle also just happens to be Brad's Sister in Law ! The D-Floor was going off with 90's dance music in honour of the first night they met at no other than The Beat Megaclub in the Valley .. (we may have taken a sneaky pic or 2 outside too) It was an absolute pleasure hanging out with you guys and hell of a lot of fun .. Congrats again guys !! Myself, a few wedding pals & the team at 97.3FM helped in makin...g Beth & Zac's wedding day dream & reality. Well yesterday was the Beth & Zac 2.0 with part 2 being their wedding reception at Coronation Hall at Somerset Dam which they weren't able to have last year due to all those pesky restrictions.
