Stewed apples and coconut yoghurt topped with @ponoprobiotics seriously so delish and so good for feeding your little gut microbiota whilst providing beneficial bacteria!! 2 birds with 1 stone #synbiotic .... . Apples are easier to digest when cooked as the cooking process breaks down cellulose making it much easier on your digestive system to break down the components. 10.01.2022 Okay you guys asked for it so here it is Muesli bars that are refined sugar free, dairy free and gluten free (can be made nut free) . . There is a reason most muesli bars are found in the confectionary isles at super markets they are normally full of sugar, additives and refined foods .... . Try making these bad boys & let me know what you think . . INGREDIENTS: 1 1/2 cups of gluten free oats or quinoa flakes 1 cup of puffed rice 1/3 cup of gf flour or coconut flour 1/2 cup shredded coconut pinch of salt tsp of cinnamon 3/4 cup of seeds/ nuts/ trail mix 1/4 cup of dried fruit (optional) could use cacao nibs tsp vanilla extract 1/2 cup natural but butter 1/2 cup of rice malt syrup/ honey 1/2 cup melted coconut oil . . METHOD: pre heat oven to 160degrees, line rectangular slice tin with baking paper mix all ingredients together until well combined press mixture firmly into slice tin (I use another sheet of baking paper on top of the mixture and press down with a spatula) bake for approx. 30min or until golden cut into bars whilst still warm and then leave to cool . .
