24.01.2022 Tonight was our annual AGM we would like to take this opportunity to farewell Emma Clements. Emma has been our treasurer for the past 7 years, her dedication to our centre has been second to none. Emma you will be sorely missed. We would like to welcome Renee to the treasurer role and Cara to the vice president role, I look forward to working with you both into the future.

21.01.2022 We Need You!! Brisbania Before & After School and Vacation Care Centre is a non-profit organisation run by a voluntary management committee. We have a wonderful and capable team of staff with a reputation for excellence that create a happy, safe & stimulating environment for school children at Brisbania Public School and surrounding areas. We always welcome new committee members but we are currently in URGENT need of a TREASURER for 2021. 20.01.2022 We are currently having issues with our online Vacation care booking and are not receiving booking notification. If you have made a booking in the past week could you please email [email protected] advising of days you have booked and also giving permission for your child to ride their scooter if attending on the 13th July, also permission is required to leave the centre as we will be walking to the park on some of the days. Our IT specialist is in the process of fixing this issue

15.01.2022 Dear Parents and Carers In line with current health advice, the NSW Department of Education has issued the following updated COVID-19 advice for families effective from Wednesday 19 August 2020. Parents/carers are reminded that students must not come to the centre if they are unwell - even with very mild symptoms. If a student has been absent due to flu like illness or develops flu like symptoms while at the centre (even if mild), they are not to return to to the centre... until they have a negative COVID- 19 test and are symptom free. The negative COVID-19 test result must be sighted and received by the centre before his or her return. As a result, we ask that any student showing symptoms (no matter how mild) including sore throat, runny nose, high temperature, headache or persistent cough, be kept home. Where a student presents to the centre with the above symptoms, parents will be asked to make arrangements for him or her to be picked up. We also request that these students, whether at home or sent home from the centre, be tested for COVID-19. Students may return to the centre when they are symptom free and the centre has received from you a copy of the notice of a negative result. We appreciate your understanding See more

14.01.2022 Please be reminded all children must have enclosed shoes, hat and drink bottle each day for vacation care. Children will be unable to attend without the above items. Please ensure all children are at the centre by 8.30am excursion days, this allows time for staff and children to get ready for bus departure.

14.01.2022 With the current Covid-19 situation we are asking that all children bring a water bottle to BSC, ASC and Vacation care. Staff will refill these water bottles in the centre when needed, please ensure your child’s water bottle has their name clearly labelled.

13.01.2022 Due to places filling fast all casual Before and After school care bookings need to be completed online using the My Family Lounge app. BSC bookings close 6:00pm the evening before ASC bookings close 11:00am the day of the booked session. Please be advised that we are no long able to take causal bookings via walk in, email or phone.

10.01.2022 Due to the Governments CCS system crashing over the weekend statements and direct debit payments will not be processed until tomorrow. We are waiting for the system to come back online in order to receive all CCS payments and ensure all balances are correct.

09.01.2022 We sincerely appreciate all the hard work Caitlin has given Brisbania Before and After school care over the past 10 years, her dedication to all the children and the centre has been greatly appreciated by all families. Congraulations on 10 years of service Caitlin, we all look forward to many more years to come

09.01.2022 Quick reminder vacation care bookings will close at 2pm each day for following day. If you require a booking please ensure you process it before 2pm. Due to staffing we will be unable to process any late bookings

08.01.2022 Please remember to pack your children Recess, Lunch and a refillable water bottle each day during Vacation care. Please be reminded we are a nut free centre, no nutella, peanut butter or nut products are to be provided while attending the centre.

At this current time we are open for Before & After school care along with vacation care but due to the current daily updates this could change at short notice. All families will be advised via email and facebook if there are any changes.
