23.01.2022 New Toy Alert!! Pikler Triangle A5-19 What is a Pikler Triangle? Its for all little toddler adventurers crawling, climbing and sliding their way through developmental milestones. Essentially it's a piece of play equipment for children as young as six-months-old that's used inside or out to help develop gross motor skills.
22.01.2022 Needing something to do with the kids tomorrow or any other Tuesday. Why dont you come on down to the Toy Library and join in the free play and grow activities put on by Kyabra. You will find them set up outside on the grassy area right in front of the car park.

21.01.2022 Toddler Tantrums can seem to be about the silliest of things. Mine once had a massive tantrum about dropping one piece of popcorn on the floor at the shops. In the busyness of life remember that our children have their own frustrations and challenges in their world and often cant voice whats bothering them.
20.01.2022 Lots of great events this week for Child Protection Week.

16.01.2022 Great post from Toy Libraries Australia the oversight body for our Toy Library. My little one hides all her toys, food, either glasses in her play oven or bed. Where does your toddler stash things?

15.01.2022 Have a small house but still want to give your kids lots of toys - Join a toy library!
15.01.2022 Helpful Hint - check your toys before you borrow them. We try our best to ensure pieces of toys don't go walk about whilst in the toy library but some times they do escape an we don't want you to be searching for them especially if they are didn't go home with you! If you get a toy home and are missing a piece that is listed or aren't happy with the toy for any reason please send us an email to [email protected] within 24 hours.... Toys are checked again on return and if there are pieces missing members are asked to either reborrow the toy (the missing piece is probably under the couch), pay the replacement cost for the piece, or help replace the piece directly (we will accept donations that match, just check with one of the committee members on duty.) If the piece turns up later we will happily give you a refund. We don't like fining people, we just want toys that are fun for all our toy library families to come!
15.01.2022 The Teeter Popper by Fat Brain Toys is a great addition purchased second hand for our Toy Library. Your child can rock it, roll it, sit in it, wiggle in it, spin it in or stand...they just want to move with Teeter Popper! How wildly fun it is! 'POP-POP-POP!' Senses go for a ride every time they play.... The Teeter Popper improves core strength, stability, leg strength, balance, coordination and gross-motor skills.

This post from our governing body Toy Libraries Australia and article covers many of the great advantages of being a member of the toy library. My favourite reason is It shows kids that the value of stuff is in its use not its ownership.... So why dont you join up today and experience the benefits for yourself!
