06.01.2022 BRiST an introduction to Contract Bridge Without the Tricky Bits Game pack will soon be launched on Kickstarter. As well as the boxed pack I will be approaching Bridge Federations around the world and Bridge clubs in Australia about my BRiST Workshops. I have 5 workshops in the pipeline: Workshop1(Wks1)= An introduction and how to play BRiST. Workshop2=Wks1+BRiST at the Bridge Club. Workshop3=Wks1+BRiST in Schools.... Workshop4=Wks1+BRiST on Cruise Ships. Workshop5=Wks1+BRiST in over50's Communities. I have been an avid Bridge Player for over 40 years.As well as a player I have mentored, taught , directed and ran contract bridge sessions at club level.My major passion and drive was introducing BRiST into Primary Schools in South Australia since 2004.From 2004 I have made contact with the Australian and World Bridge Federations on numerous occasions in regard to my game but only received polite responses which never lead to anywhere. I knew that unless I did something now my created game would die with me. It was while visiting my best mate on the SUNSHINE COAST(June2019) and enjoying his company with his Son from Melbourne who said that my Game BRiST should be made available to all to play and I should get the game packaged and be made ready for the World Market.I explained that I did not have the finances or marketing skills to bring the Game BRiST to the world. My mates son said that all I needed to do was to create a finished Prototype then go on to Kickstarter which is a website that promotes bringing Art works comic designs and board games(like Brist) to market by crowd funding. Within 4 months I had Finally managed to create my logo and the best of all my Prototypes.Within the next couple of months I hope to be able to Post my pitch on to Kickstarter.
