25.01.2022 The importance of a good connection! We replaced some three phase outlets and plugs yesterday that had burnt out due to loose connections. It is so important to make sure your leads are properly secured and making good contact to ensure you dont have loose connections resulting in burnt out equipment. 17.01.2022 We have just finished wiring up a shed for a great customer today that has been waiting patiently for his new shed. Once it was constructed we had a couple of the boys smash it all out in two days. New underground service to the shed with additional wiring for two way switching between the house and the shed. Enough power points for the customers needs and oodles of light! A very happy customer yet again. 16.01.2022 We have quite possibly just had one of the most challenging and demanding weeks of our business history. We had a very small window to complete a mountain of work to make this 2000 amp power upgrade happen. Over the last five days (and some nights) our team has installed and terminated 4 sets of 500mm2 cables from a new 1500kVA transformer, installed our new 6 mtr long main switchboard. Winched in and then buried Underground to get the last section to the board - 5 sets of... 400mm2 sub mains, 2 sets of 300mm2 sub mains, 1 set of 120mm2 sub mains and two essential services circuits. All in all we have installed over 4000 mts of cable (approximately 20tonne). The week has taken maximum effort from all our team and extended team. From our Chippy waiting for us to finish installing cables at 10.30 at night so he could finish the cladding to make them secure, to our awesome earth mover Craig working two massive nights not only on the machine last night back filling until midnight and cleaning up, but helping us winch cables the night before. Stuart project managing this whole job for the last 9 months and putting in the hard yards this week even on his birthday yesterday. Ive always believed that we have a great team, this week has proven it once again, even with those not here, keeping the rest of the business running. But a big thank you to Bess, my wife for being so understanding and looking after the kids all on her own yet again for the entire week.
