03.01.2022 Terribly sorry people, but I posted an event in error. Due to CASA regulations we are not allowed to advertise the coming gathering to the general public. Please dont let that stop you visiting on any Sunday though, we would love to show you what we do!

02.01.2022 Flying Site Locations We now have two flying sites following the integration of GPMFC (Golden Plains Model Flying Club) into BRMFC during the second half of 2014. The primary BRMFC field (as of 1st October 2014) is on Trawalla Estate land (formerly Dynamic Flight Park until the end of April 2016) located at the corner of Nerring-Trawalla (Church) Road and the Western Highway Trawalla, 40kms by road WNW of Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. It caters for all types of fixed wing mo...dels. Our previous field which we occupied from mid 2000 was located at Yendon. The secondary field (formerly GPMFC field) is located within the Burrumbeet Racecourse Remembrance Drive, Burrumbeet Victoria, 18.5kms from the Ballarat CBD. Due to the charter of GPMFC being preserved after its aquisition by BRMFC, it caters for both fixed & rotary wing models. The close proximity of the caravan park means engine sizes are restricted to 46 two stroke or 60 four stroke engines to keep a lid on noise and the size of models flown. Trawalla Field If you are coming from Ballarat: Go out Sturt Street which becomes Remembrance Drive until you reach the Western freeway at Burrumbeet or get onto the freeway at your most convenient location. Continue along the Western Highway/Freeway for 20km (from Burrumbeet) where you will see the former Dynamic Flight shed on your left as you go over the Trawalla Road overpass. Dont get off the freeway onto Trawalla Road. Continue on 1 km and turn left to access Nerring-Trawalla (Church) Road. It is well sign posted. Traverse back 1 km along what is the old highway and turn right into Church Road. At this point there is no other option. The entrance to our field is on the left about 250m along the unsealed road. If you are coming from Melbourne: Stay on the Western Freeway to By-pass Ballarat. Continue along the Western Highway/Freeway for another 44km (from the first exit into Ballarat) where you will see the former Dynamic Flight shed on your left as you go over the Trawalla Road overpass.
