25.01.2022 Congratulations to Youth coach of the year Brendan Howard Brendan is coach of the premiership winning U14 Blue team this year, however that is not his only role.... He has been with Broadbeach Football club for over 35 years, and is also heavily involved with the senior club in various different capacities. He's also coaches a junior cricket side. There's not often a day when he's not visible around the club. He instills fairness and team spirit into his players, particularly under the team rule of "always do what's best for the team". Together with assistant Paul he has brought out the best in all of his team's players. He is very well respected by his players and the respect is returned back to the boys. Congratulations Brendan, very well deserved

Jackson, an integral member of the CATS attack next season provides elite foot skills and is a very dangerous player across the half forward line. 20.01.2022 MATCH DAY INFORMATION We are one day away from the CATS taking on Morningside in the QAFL Grand Final at Yeronga. Here is what you need to know: - Entry is $10 for adults & $7 for concession ... - No BYO alcohol - bring a chair and spread out around the ground or in our designated Broadbeach Cats Supporters Area. - we still have plenty of T-Shirts for sale. Please see bar staff today to get yourself a shirt! - Please adhere to social distancing and follow instructions given by covid officers. - no access to the field or Changerooms at any time during breaks etc. Post Game @Sports Club - Unfortunately due time COVID restrictions at anyone time we can only have 100 people in the club. We hope you understand and adhere to instructions given by security guards and volunteers. - There is a pledge board up and running at the club for the players and staff to enjoy if triumphant on Saturday. If you wish to donate a keg they are $300 and it would be greatly appreciated. - Please consume your drink seated and adhere to social distancing. - Senior Bus will be back at 6:30pm We can’t wait to have you all at Yeronga cheering us on tomorrow. A tall utility player, Harry was a rock down back and in the ruck for us in 2020. An Athletic jump and provides great run & carry with the ball, Harry is ready to take the QAFL on in 2021. A tall defender who has played over 150 senior games for Rochester and a life member of the Rochester Football Club. A great signing for the CATS and we look forward to seeing James don the hoops this season for the Cats at Subaru Oval. Welcome James and Go the Cats!

18.01.2022 Welcome to the CATS for season 2021, LUCAS JELLYMAN-TURNER Lucas comes to us from Berwick in Victoria and is currently playing over the summer for St Mary’s in the NTFL. Over 100 senior games for Berwick including multiple premierships and was named best on ground in the 2015 Grand Final at the age of 18. Lucas brings to the CATS in 2021 great pace and ball movement, a outstanding work ethic and strong leadership skills having captained Berwick recently. Our current physio as well, Jordan is very passionate about his football and taking care of footballers. A degree in Sports Science and Physiotherapy places Jordan well suited for the position and will give the cats the best chance to be playing in the finals again this season!
