24.01.2022 One of our training sessions for the month Here at Broadbeach Meals on Wheels, new and existing volunteers are completing training sessions to understand their responsibilities as a volunteer for the organisation. They have completed all documentation to meet compliance for insurance and state and federal government regulations and are ready to continue safely volunteering and delivering to clients! 22.01.2022 Here at Broadbeach Meals on Wheels, we have seen over a 50% increase in client demand due to the COVID-19 pandemic! A friendly visit from one of our Volunteers isn't just about meal delivery, it is also about offering support and the opportunity for a chat - something that many of our clients need during this time. 15.01.2022 One of our amazing volunteers, David Harding, accepting a BP gift card for his exceptional volunteering and contribution to Broadbeach Meals on Wheels BP graciously donated these gift cards to the Australian Meals on Wheels Association (AMOWA), who then distributed them to Queensland Meals on Wheels (QMOW) and onto local services! Congratulations, David We appreciate you and all of your hard work at Broadbeach Meals on Wheels.

10.01.2022 Last Friday we held the BBMOW Annual General Meeting and had the opportunity to acknowledge two long-standing volunteers. 09.01.2022 A very big thank you to RB (Reckitt Benckiser) for donating essential cleaning supplies to Meals on Wheels! Over the Covid period RB have undertaken to donate $1 milion worth of product to Meals on Wheels in Australia ... We received our allocation of Glen 20 and Pine O Cleen here at Broadbeach Meals on Wheels and we can't wait to distribute them out to our clients and volunteers. We are taking all of the necessary steps to remain COVID safe, and we are beyond thankful for this donation!
