Gordon Hastie was always ready to lend a hand at a working bee, attend a function, drive someone to the Dr's, or don the apron for the Bunnings Sausage Sizzle. He will be deeply missed by the members and friends at the Broadford Sub Branch. ... If only there had been time for one more double cheek greeting. RIP

18.01.2022 Excellent attendance for our Italian Night last night. Great company and great food from our local caterer JBL Catering. Our Puckapunyal guests cleaned up the raffle prizes and Gordon Hastie won the Ferrari. Watch this space for the details of our next theme night.

15.01.2022 The Broadford ANZAC March commences at 9.30am rain hail or shine starting from the corner of Hamilton and High street in the service lane. Please come out to thank our servicemen, servicewomen and veterans on Thursday morning. The service commences approximately 9.45 at the cenotaph. After the service you will be welcomed at the RSL hall for refreshments.

13.01.2022 Hi Ladies, At the moment we don’t appear to have enough people committed to the shopping tour. The minimum bracket is 20-24 and this puts the cost to $67 each. For this few people we only get a 5% commission. I think we currently have about 16 confirmed. So unless everyone has a friend they can bring it’s not looking good. We need 25 people for the price to be $57 and 30 people for the price to be $50. Mandy

01.01.2022 ANZAC Day is not cancelled but it will be different this year. In 2020, on April 25, while you can't go to the Shrine of Remembrance or our local Dawn Service, the RSL is asking that instead you #STANDTO. As the Last Post is played during the ANZAC Day Dawn Service walk outside, stand in your yard, driveway, or on your balcony and observe a minute of silence in respect of our veterans.
