21.01.2022 From Monday 14 September the Rockpools operating hours will be 9am - 3pm, 7 days a week. We are operating under a COVID safe plan which will require contact tracing information.

19.01.2022 What’s open and what’s closed at Broadwater Parklands. Facilities now closed until further notice: Gold Coast Aquatic Centre ... Rockpools Wet Play Bouncy Pillow Hopo Ferry Service GC Aquapark (closed for the current season) Facilities currently open: Fish Shak serving takeaways (Wed to Sun) Shak Expresso serving takeaways (Mon to Sun) Café Catalina serving takeaways (Mon to Sun) Playgrounds Swimming enclosure BBQs and shelters Outdoor gym Amenities blocks Boat Ramp We have increased the cleaning frequency of park facilities and remind everyone to practice good personal hygiene and maintain appropriate social distancing.

18.01.2022 The Government’s COVID-19 restrictions now permit gatherings of up to 100 family and friends outdoors. Social distancing should still be practiced. Staying at least 1.5 metres away from others will help prevent the spread of COVID-19. All the Broadwater Parklands facilities and attractions are once again open, with the exception of GC Aquapark which will reopen in September.... Rockpools are open from tomorrow (Saturday 11 July 2020) Rockpools opening hours for July and August are 9am to 3pm. BBQ / Shelters and other function spaces are now available to hire. Events are also recommencing over the coming months with additional COVID Safe measures applying. 16.01.2022 Commencing Saturday 2 May some restrictions have been eased to allow families to enjoy a picnic in the park and our onsite restaurants are available to provide takeaways. Picnics are strictly limited to members of the same household ‘or’ an individual and one friend, and all other rules regarding social gatherings remain in place. The Parklands are also still available for general exercise, but the majority of facilities will remain closed until further notice.

13.01.2022 Here at Broadwater Parklands we just wanted to clarify any confusion there may be around the Gold Coast Show. The official 2020 Gold Coast Show has been cancelled, but we look forward to seeing it back here in 2021.

10.01.2022 In line with the current tightening of COVID-19 restrictions, the bouncy pillow will be temporarily closed until existing restrictions are lifted. If you are coming to the park please note the maximum number for people gathering is 10.

09.01.2022 The Bouncy Pillow is closed today for maintenance. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. It will be open tomorrow for all your bouncing needs.

07.01.2022 Broadwater Parklands remains open for personal exercise in line with the Australian Government’s COVID-19 restrictions. Activities such as sunbathing, picnicking and general recreation are classed as non-essential gatherings and are therefore restricted. 04.01.2022 Broadwater Parklands will progressively open additional facilities in line with Stages 2 and 3 of the easing of Queensland’s restrictions. The Bouncy Pillow will re-open Saturday 13 June The Rockpools Waterplay will re-open Saturday 11 July Gold Coast Aquatic Centre will re-open Saturday 11 July... Use of these facilities will be in accordance with the Government’s gathering restrictions and social distancing guidelines applicable at the time.
