24.01.2022 REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN for our August Session- Our Fifth Birthday! Can you believe Broadway Sessions has hit the big FiVE? We cant! But you know what that means dont you!? Were school age! Join us as we celebrate our birthday while exploring shows and songs about education. So, throw your *Book Report in your bag, grab your *Kindergarten Boyfriend, finish that *Little More Homework to Do, cause kid, *Youre in the Band!... Just remember, *Were All In This Together, so well be continuing to follow social distancing guidelines. As there are limited seats available due to COVID restrictions, you will be able to join us in person, OR stream it from the comfort of your home! Doors are open at 5:45pm. Food and beverages are available from the bar. And like every good birthday party, there will be cake! Tickets to be in the audience will go on sale on Friday 21 August. Unfortunately, you are unable to book a whole table - however the Broadway Sessions team will be allocating seats so you can sit with your family and friends. Tickets bought under the same name will automatically be seated together. If you have any other seating requests, please email them to [email protected] by 5pm on Wednesday 26 August. We may not be able to accommodate any requests after this time. For the opportunity to perform, visit our registration page (www.broadwaysessions/register) and submit two song options that fit this months theme (from a musical or by an established music theatre writer). 23.01.2022 Well 2020, you’ve really done a number on us we feel like this month’s Session was aptly named CHEERS 2020 THANKS FOR NUTHIN! ...because that’s all we’re left with. Nuthin. As you’re no doubt aware, the SA COVID Cluster has meant that restrictions are coming back into place, and they will still be in force next weekend when our Session was planned. Norwood Live has pre-emptively cancelled all bookings, understandably, and as a result we cannot continue to hold our Session... this month. We considered a full-streaming alternative, but have decided we’d like to be responsible under the circumstances and cancel this month completely. This will enable everyone, including performers, to follow the guidelines so that restrictions can be in place for the shortest possible time. We’re all very sad to announce this, especially with the flood of registrations we had this month, but we do thank you for your continued support, your understanding, and hope that you can join us again in the new year (this was our last Session for 2020!) to kick things off again with a bang. 21.01.2022 During normal times, our audience would be arriving at Norwood Live for this month’s Session while the team would be busy checking everything is ready to go. But what even is normal anymore? 2020 might be kicking us all right in the hurts, but it’s kind of hard to mope about missing what would have been the last Session of 2020 when you can focus on the joy of welcoming the newest member of the Broadway Sessions team, Grayson Henry Cann! Congratulations to Louis (bass) a...nd Serena on this super cute addition to their little family. It shouldn’t be too hard to figure out where Grayson got his charm from! We can’t wait until he’s old enough to join us on stage - the only thing to ponder is if will it be as an instrumentalist or a singer (or both!)? Only time will tell Welcome to the Broadway Sessions family, Grayson!

Congratulations to Scott (co-producer) and Casmira (social media) on this gorgeous addition to their family. The Broadway Sessions team have been a little preoccupied this last week so we may** have forgotten to mention it! As with every final Session for the year, performers can register to sing anything they like as long as it fits the Broadway Sessions criteria a song from a musical or by an established music theatre writer. We are also not able to seat strangers together at table, and must therefore ask that if you book, you need to book with 3-6 others. You can factor in performers you know will be sitting with you when you purchase as part of this group. Obviously, due to the limited seating capacity, there will NO tickets available at the door. ...
