19.01.2022 The Boys & Girls Club of Durham is an organization that has been dear to my heart for several years. . In previous years we would volunteer for their annual Christmas drive/dinner providing a delicious meal, much needed necessities and even some gifts from the big guy himself for underprivleged youth in our own community. These youth are in our own backyards. For some, this will be the ONLY time they will have a celebration of any sort. . Unfortunately this beautiful evening... of love & community cannot happen this year but as per the true, solid, unwavering spirit of this organization, the love and support will continue. . Please, if you can, donate to this amazing cause. Every penny of your contribution will go directly to these youth...providing warm clothes, basic toiletries, grocery gift certificates and maybe even a wee gift from Santa himself! . Our futures afe literally in your hands and even the smallest gesture can help us now from drowning. . Awaiting the announcement today from the Ford government....many are speculating the worst for Toronto and Peel areas...and we will not be far behind in Durham. . Again my opinion, small business can much better control the traffic in our businesses and are able to properly disinfect to the higest standards!
