22.01.2022 Get ready shooters our annual Christmas shoot and presentation is set to kick off this Sunday the 6th of December at 9am with 50ish targets with lunch to follow. Our last shoot before the hot weather creeps in. It has been a up and down year with COVID and all its new rules and the committee would like to take this opportunity to thank all members for their support throughout the whole process and we hope to get shooting a full calendar next year. 18.01.2022 The Broken Hill Field & Game held its annual Christmas shoot on the weekend and wasn’t it a beauty, the boys done a fantastic job giving the shooters a fun filled course with plenty for everyone. To start off we would like to thank all the visitors and members for attending, the ladies in the office Cassie McEvoy, Elissa Tweedie and Brian Hoare your efforts throughout the year keeping everything running smoothly has been fantastic. Thank you to the cooks who came out and k...ept everyone fed these blokes don’t shoot but still come out and donate their time to help out each year. Shoot grade winners AA Doug Osbourne A Travis Casey B Craig Lawrence C Gary Meehan Ladies Cassie McEvoy Juniors Tom Casey After lunch we had our yearly Presentations for our aggregate grade winners and our Club Champion Trophies Club Champion for 2020 Josh Holmes A aggregate Gerard Mahoney B aggregate Adrian Locke C aggregate Gary Meehan Ladies Aggregate Cassie McEvoy Juniors Aggregate Tom Casey We also presented the president’s shield which is given out for outstanding efforts to the club throughout the year and this year it was presented to Jeff Glasson and Bob Tweedie these two have done a absolutely outstanding job at cleaning up the range and painting everything that doesn’t move so please if you head out the club don’t stand still for to long, great effort gents well deserved. The club awarded a life membership to Bernie Clogg, Bernie is a original member who helped build the club in the early years and is never shy to lend a hand when needed congratulations mate.
