23.01.2022 Some sad news to report today. Former member Bruce Pittaway (Paddles) passed away peacefully on Thursday. Bruce was a member of the club for many years and was always a person you could easily get along with. He could mix it with the best, attending our annual Huckfest events flying with top Australian pilots or just flying with a couple of club members on a weekend and a friendly chat. As with most long time members there comes a time when you have to hang up the wings due to health reasons, but Bruce found a way around that and purchased a Drone which he could bring to our club for a chat and a fly. 22.01.2022 The club Trainer had another workout today with new members Paul and son Robert on the sticks. Both achieved their first take-off and landing last week, and are progressing well with circuits. Paddles Husky took to the skies again. Hope you were watching over us old mate.
