08.01.2022 Most mortgage brokers know that without good systems and processes, you can't scale. But the answer isn't to build rigid systems that are set in "concrete". 07.01.2022 Mortgage pros: let me know if this sounds familiar... A client asks you to put together a "quick quote" on a transaction they're considering... Let's say it's a 400K purchase. ... So you go away and come back to them with a snapshot of how much money they'll need, indicative interest rates and approximate repayments... But more often than not, the client comes back and says, "How about a 450K purchase?", or, "We're thinking we might go with a Land and Build now... how would that look?" Before long, you're chewing up a heap of time on quick quotes and scenario comparisons that may or may not go anywhere.
