15.01.2022 Do you ride along Canning Street (Carlton North)? Wondered why the intersection of Canning St and Richardson St hasn’t been re-sealed yet? In just over a weeks’ time Yarra City Council will commence works to improve this intersection, delivered as part of the Federal Black Spot Programme. The finished works will see the installation of a roundabout, similar to the one at the intersection of Canning and Pigdon streets (one block north). Initial works for drainage improvement w...ill be conducted over 3-4 weeks (from Monday 30 November 2020). The second stage of works to complete the project (tree removal, kerb and roundabout work) is scheduled to commence Monday 4 January 2021 and is likely to take 6-8 weeks to be completed.
