22.01.2022 Don't let Comparison-itis wear you down and disrupt your business flow. We notice that the online space and social media create an environment of comparison-itis - that is the behaviour/activity of comparing your business and where it is at to other businesses and where they are at in their development. This can be damaging because you cannot compare your start with someone else's middle.... If we're talking about our clients, some of whom are just starting, and some who have been in business for a while, and then you look at us - well, we've been in the trenches for years, decades in fact, and we would hate to think that they would compare what we do to what they do. So allow yourself to be a beginner because no one starts off being excellent.

18.01.2022 There is an art to getting to know who you want to serve in your business. It's one of the first things we do with our clients, getting clear on that ideal client, avatar, your audience. Make sure you know it is only as it pertains to your marketing, it does not mean you miss out on all the other people who don't fit the character.... You can't market to your gorgeous 25 yo the same way you market to me, we will both miss what you are wanting to achieve. When you are clear about their challenges and desires in your messages you'll get higher engagement to more of the right people and more sales/cash in the bank.

There are loads of internet marketers and people online who offer a guarantee. When it comes to business, there is only one guarantee. You are the guarantee. That person who is pushed around, has had all the bad things happen, yet seems to come up with a solution to the problem, and pulls it off with resounding success. Oceans 12, Erin Brockovich, Slumdog Millionaire, Bilbo Baggins in The Lord of The Rings and the list goes on. The little known or valued person who ends up being the exception to the rule.... The character who comes up with a super cool plan comes up with the action and gets the prize. Almost all of us dream of being that person, the one who may not want the fanfare or the fame, but who wants to be the exception and stand up for what you believe.to be the exception rather than the rule. With that said, this is where the negative opinion and doubt comes in. The stories of others who have tried it before and failed. Or the story of someone wildly successful, and how it simply is not possible to be that person. 08.01.2022 What happens if you aren't actively engaging with others on Facebook? And what I mean here is simply a like, a comment, or a share...with the meaning of course, not just an emoji or two. So what are you doing now? ... You have your business on Facebook, you show up and create and publish content and you think that is enough. You leave it at that, thinking that it is all you need to do for your business to connect with your audience and that they will engage with you. And you might say "This is all I want to do. I don't want to go in and like other people's posts and comment and share their content". However the flip side of that creates the biggest con - what you put in, is what you get back. If you are not going to engage with other people then why should other people engage with you? If you are going to show up then make it worth your while.
03.01.2022 It can be easy to get caught up in the bright shiny world of doing business, let's be honest, isn't that why most entrepreneurs start. With an idea, a dream to monetise something or other. When it comes to being taken seriously and standing out online, demonstrate, demonstrate, demonstrate.... Talk is cheap.
