20.01.2022 Do not use Saltwater for fuel it doesnt end well.

Adjust valve clearances. The engine sounds so much quieter and smoother now also sounds alot more responsive and running how it should again.

20.01.2022 Another video of the yanmar seatrial.

19.01.2022 The impeller from the 175 Honda luckily it didnt fail up north, the owner had just came back from a trip away not what u want.

19.01.2022 Another mercruiser out for a bit of a tidy up, we will be cleaning up all the rust and fitting some new accessories to get the vessel ready for an Abrolhos trip,

19.01.2022 Full annual services for this absolute weapon of a boat, running great again and has all genuine parts back on it now as it previously had cheap aftermarket parts fitted to it Some parts had been re-used and the block anodes had never been done before. We only use genuine parts as its just not worth the risk to save a few $$$.

18.01.2022 Carb clean and seatrial on this 8m tri hull, dropped from 2x 250hp 2 stroke v6 Yamahas down to one engine and boat still gets up over 30knots, and handles alot better,

17.01.2022 A pic one of our customer sent in from the other day putting the 5.0 mercruiser back in, having the hiab definitely makes it so much easier and dont have to pay to hire a crane.

16.01.2022 Annual service on this f250 Yamaha, along with some new block anodes and thermostats.

15.01.2022 Full annual service for this 4.3 v6 mercruiser, pretty straightforward this time with no surprises as last year we did all the major items, manifolds and risers/uni bellows ect,

15.01.2022 Annual service and some repairs to this 140 suzuki, full annual service, new engine oil cooler as it was badly corroded and leaking engine oil into the water, new propshaft seals and driveshaft seals.

15.01.2022 Another annual service completed on this 175hp verado it was a good chance to do some preventative maintenance on a few items we listed last service. New spark plugs, new belt and tensioner pulley, new air filter and thermostat. Ready for another year of boating.

14.01.2022 Annual service for this 3.0 mercruiser that hadnt been used for a long time, full service, new thermostat, new manifold and riser, drained fuel tank and fresh fuel all ready to use.

13.01.2022 Annual service on this 150hp yamaha this one needed new driveshaft seals, impeller housing and some other repairs the Main control box harness as it had gotten water into it at the extension harness and was causing the ignition to stay on with the key off.

13.01.2022 Annual service on this 250 E-tec a few repairs and a good cleanup as this top coverplate was corroded out leaking saltwater all down the back of the engine and a new hub for the Stainless Steel propeller.

13.01.2022 Job completed, full engine repower for this steel yacht, we removed the old Volvo 31 and replaced with a new yanmar 110hp the boat is now faster and more economical than it has ever been, was a lot of custom work involved in fitting the new yanmar, we had to get custom exhaust mixed fabbed up as the engine sits about 4m down into the hull, feel free to call us if your considering your next engine repower.

13.01.2022 Here's a few pictures from the nauticat repower, it was a big job but the 2 of us got it done and back in the water within the week, we had about 3mm clearance fitting the engines through the bedroom doors, the windows were just in the right spots so we could get the crane in to lift the motors we had to reposition and change the angle of the crane each time we lifted to motors. The truck has definitely proven itself again on this job as there's no way we could do the job without it. We would also like to thank Rory from op marine for propspeeding the saildrives for us, once again a great job done.

10.01.2022 Putting the new truck to good use. Now to get the engine dressed and ready to go back in the boat, rebuilt 5.0 mercruiser mpi.

08.01.2022 A few very busy weeks ahead , volvo penta tamd70e full engine rebuild,

08.01.2022 A quick oil change and inspection on this 150mercury after the new owner just brought it, well worth it as the motor was starting to fall off and all the mounting bolts were loose, yhe boat is only 4 years old.

08.01.2022 Safe to say my customer won't be buying this one, this shows how important it is to go get a pre purchase inspection done on a boat even if it has receipts for recent work done, its amazing that they can actually sell a boat in this state, we inspect the boat for our customers not the seller they are the ones paying for the report.

07.01.2022 Another late night last night to get the job done, mercruiser out for some transom shield repairs and a tidy up of the engine. New sump, timing cover, sea water pump and starter motor while it was out. All the brackets and pulleys have been cleaned up and powdercoated, looking like a new engine again.

07.01.2022 Really not sure what to say about this one!! Some people should not be touching boats, very lucky the new owner didnt take the boat out like that could of ended very badly.

06.01.2022 Starting better than ever with a brand new genuine starter motor.

06.01.2022 Full annual service and repairs for this 175 Honda outboard running so much smoother and quieter now.New timing belt, thermostats, impeller housing, replaced the vst filter which was sucking itself in and causing the engine to run rough and surge. The iac was really loud as it was staying open just to keep the engine running.

05.01.2022 Annual service and some repairs on this yamaha f80 fourstroke, it seems that the last person to re-seal the gearbox must be half blind, see if you can pick whats wrong with the gearbox seals.

03.01.2022 Have you ever skinned a propeller hub its not fun cutting propellers off, always make sure your mechanic uses a good quality marine grease that wont wash off.

02.01.2022 Annual service and repairs to this neat little ski boat the boat has fully been restored and now has an engine to match, cleaned carbs, new impeller housing and liner , wear plate, new impeller and found all the old blades that had broken off, a previous owner thought it was a good idea to cut half the thermostat off so that was also replaced, running and sounding great.
