24.01.2022 Congratulations to Ellie Laine officially named on Sunday 8th November at Valley Heights. Ellie is the 4th granddaughter of my lovely next door neighbours and she looked stunning in the 63 year old heirloom gown worn by 4 generations of the family. 21.01.2022 Congratulations Holly and Shane who were married at Someset Manor in Silverdale on Saturday 5th October. It was such a beautiful wedding and having known Holly all her life, I was delighted to officiate at yet another life celebration for this beautiful family. There were many highlights during the afternoon/evening but one that stood out for me was the Acknowledgement of Country presented so confidently by Holly and Shane’s 5 year old daughter Hayley. Love and blessings to you both and your two gorgeous girls.

21.01.2022 It was such an honour and a privilege to officiate at the Celebration of Life for 100 year old Catherine Trower recently. And what a celebration it was!!! Family and friends gathered to bid Cath farewell through words of tribute, especially chosen music, poems, photo presentation and a moving tribute and recitation of ‘My Country’ by Alan Jones OA. Cath was such a beautiful lady, she lived an amazing life and has left a lasting legacy of love and memories for her family.... Cath’s light shines very brightly in the hearts and minds of those who loved her. May she rest in peace.

20.01.2022 Looking absolutely beautiful in the family heirloom Christening gown the delightful Sophia Anne was officially named in her grandparents garden at Mount Victoria on Sunday 1st December. It was such a pleasure to reconnect with this gorgeous couple and their family after conducting their marriage last year. The bridal party consisted of the couple’s children and a Sand Ceremony symbolised the blending of these two beautiful families. 09.01.2022 It’s always a privilege to celebrate the long and full life of a person. Recently I had the honour of officiating at the Celebration of Life for two grand and gracious ladies Catherine Trower and Dorothy Yeomans. Catherine lived to the grand age of 100 and Dorothy lived to 105. Can imagine Dorothy swimming with sharks at the age of 104 and flying in a helicopter over Sydney when she was 103? Both were amazing women and their legacies live on into the future.

08.01.2022 The strong winds on Saturday 22nd August calmed beautifully for Crystal and Matthew’s wedding at Vine Cottage Castlereagh as they gathered with a small group of family and friends to be married. Sadly, due to Covid-19 numbers were reduced and many people were missed. ‘Molly’ the flower dog behaved perfectly on the day and it was lovely to watch this happy couple dance their ‘first dance’ with the lakes in the background and cut their wedding cake at this beautiful venue. Each year families and friends of loved ones who have died during the past 12 months are invited to a special ceremony in memory of their loved one. It is also a great opportunity to reconnect with families and those who cared so lovingly for them. I’d like to acknowledge the doctors, nurses, support teams and volunteers who provide outstanding care and compassion to those in need. 04.01.2022 It was cold and windy but still a beautiful day for COHAN’S Name Day on Saturday 26th September at Nurragingy Reserve, Doonside. With 6 siblings Cohan has plenty of love and guidance. Purple was the colour of the day in loving memory of his grandmother Sylvia who passed away earlier this year. After the Candle Lighting Ceremony we topped off with a Sand Ceremony. Different coloured sands were poured into a glass ‘rocket ship’ shaped vessel represented the family and Godparents. Blessings for life Cohan the sky is the limit.
