20.01.2022 The skid ramp is basically the old fashioned concrete ramp. However, in areas where the Department of Primary Industries (former NSW Fisheries) require little c...hange to the foreshore, skid ramps are approved over concrete boat ramps. Our Skid Ramps are always built in Turpentine due to the timbers natural resistance to the Marine Borer and wet rot. Skids not constructed in Turpentine will fail within in around a 12 month period. We always use either hot dipped galvanised or 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel fixings to make sure your new skid ramp will last. All our sea walls are built to suit each particular property with a range of products to choose from. We can install sandstone seawalls or concrete look alike block walls. We can have Engineering Plans provided at your request. We also install NSW Fisheries Preferred Seawalls also known as Rip Rap Walls. We can also assist you with an approval of a seawall as this can certainly be tricky. Have a look at our Council Approval Page for further details.

13.01.2022 Don’t look down at the water and think that it can’t be done - Stair access on steep waterfront properties is our specialty. By using Australian Hardwood in la...rge section sizes and hot dipped galvanised fittings we can build you access stairs that will last in our harsh weather conditions. "Traditionally, Sea Stairs are suitable for areas that receive heavy wash where a ramp and pontoon application is not suitable. However, in recent years, we have seen the reemergence of Sea Stairs where Council length constraints do not allow over length structures to obtain the correct depth of water for a pontoon. Our Sea Stairs are always built in Turpentine due to the timbers natural resistance to the Marine Borer and wet rot. Stairs not constructed in Turpentine will fail within in around a 12 month period. A number of handrail formations can be constructed to be built to your design preference as well as the inclusion of fishing pole holders for those of you who are fishing enthusiasts All our timber handrails are built with Australian Hardwood from a managed hardwood plantation. This means that the timber installed in not taken from the national forests. All Our Handrails are built by Bridge & Wharf Carpentry Tradesmen to Australian Standards. Handrails are built to Building Code of Australia. Hot Dipped Galvanised bolts or 316 Stainless Steel bolts are used based on your requirements and budget. We can offer a design and construct service Stainless Steel handrails are also available and can be designed to your requirements
