15.01.2022 Good morning BENS families, Well, it is officially my last week here in Karrratha. With that being said, I want to leave you with some options for childcare should you require it. ... I would like to introduce Jill Vancauwenbergh, who I am sure a lot of you may already know. Jill is 25 years old and is from Belgium. She is currently an au pair, and her host family are her priority,however she has some availability when she’s not required at home. Unfortunately Jill is leaving Karratha on the 26th of October, however she has the following dates available prior to leaving. SEPTEMBER: Available every evening of the week (after 5pm), except for Friday the 18th of September. She is currently free the whole weekend of the 19-20th Sept. OCTOBER: Available every weeknight evening (after 5pm). Weekend availability; Saturday the 3rd Sunday 4th Saturday 10th Sunday 11th Sunday 18th I have had such wonderful feedback from clients who have had Jill nanny their children, so she is most definitely BENS approved. 14.01.2022 Hey BENS families, Apologies that lately you only hear from me on Friday’s or weekends (and very sporadically at that). My weekdays are a little different these days and with the time difference, it’s a bit of a mission! ... I just wanted to let my families know a little about Stephanie Serone who is an absolutely beautiful nanny (I already have so many past clients attesting to her love & care with their children) and I have only been gone 2 weeks! 12.01.2022 Well, this morning I flew out from Karratha. I cried the whole way walking to the plane and didn't stop the whole flight & doubt I will for a wee while (thank the sweet baby cheeses I had the entire row to myself!) I have just landed in Perth & I have one more flight ahead of me onto Sydney.... I have been wanting to say thank you all weekend for the two wonderful farewells I have had, both Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. Every time I sat down to write a thank you post, I just physically couldn't do it. (Those that know me well, know I'm not a crier and don't like to physically show my emotions). But there must have been some crazy hayfever going on because I have cried on and off all week. This morning was an emotional disaster - there were tears for years! I just want to thank every single one of you who turned up to the BENS kids BBQ yesterday. Even though it was Fathers Day, I couldn't believe you all took the time out of a special day and came along. It meant the absolute world to me. Thank you My heart was bursting with so much love and gratitude that I got to see you & all the kids before i left. Thank you for the wonderful gifts (which was so naughty & not expected, but I loved every single one). I am very grateful and I will treasure them all forever. I do mean it when I say please stay in touch, and that there will ALWAYS be a place for you to stay in Sydney if you ever find yourself in NSW. Look after yourselves, your babies, your hearts and remember life really is precious and unpredictable. Through all the wonderful times, the frustrating times, the sad and the difficult times that being a parent brings, we will never get this day back again. 10.01.2022 It was with great sadness that I am having to write this and let you all know that I will be leaving Karratha on Monday the 7th of September. This has not been an easy decision to make, as a big piece of my heart will forever belong in the Pilbara. A new career path has come my way and of course, being closer to home in New Zealand and my whanau was a big factor too. I have met the most beautiful families, who have welcomed me into their homes and let me be a part of their ch...ildren’s lives. The memories and friendships (both big and small people) that I have made, have been some of the most special times of my life. The Pilbara and my BENS kids have really healed my heart and given me a new perspective on life. I was counting all the families and children that I have cared for over the past year, and I can’t believe that I have had the privilege to spend time with over 45 children and their families. Even though I am leaving town, I will never forget my BENS kids and the wonderful times I have had with them all. You all have such beautiful children and they were a pleasure to care for. From the bottom of my heart, I thank all the parents for entrusting me with your little ones. You have given me such an amazing gift being able to spend time with your babies. I have delivered most of the invitations to my BENS Kids for my leaving BBQ (I still have a few to deliver), but on Sunday the 6th of September I will be having a BBQ at the Nickol West Park (by the park and BBQs), between 2pm-4pm for all the kids I have looked after during my time here. I realise this is fathers day, so please don’t feel any pressure to come. I have made it a two hour window so if you can, just pop in for ten minutes, have something to eat and an ice cream for the kids so I can get my last goodbyes in! And lastly, a huge thank you to my loyal clients who have supported my business from the start. I will miss you all dearly, and please, if you ever find yourself in Sydney, shout out! 04.01.2022 LOOKING FOR A SUPER STAR NANNY, KARRATHA Beautiful family looking for a nanny for a period of four weeks. Live OUT position. ... Paid by the hour. Your main care will be looking after Miss 5 when she is not at school (she attends 5 days a fortnight), and then getting her and Miss 10 to their activities after school. Hours are roughly 9am-5.15pm, every second Monday (full day) and every Tuesday (every week, full day). If flexibility allows, school pick ups on a Thursday and Friday would be a huge help and advantage. School holidays, their very independent 13 year old son returns from Boarding school, and at this stage full time will be required for the two weeks of the school holidays for all 3 children. 01.01.2022 Kia Ora my BENS families, Just dropping by to say a quick hello & that I am missing you all. My first (nearly) two weeks in Sydney have been great. ... I am settling in to my new world & making new friends & seeing the sights. I have a lot to learn, and I’m trying to get used to the big city life! (Good lord, Sydney is HUUUUGE!). I feel very blessed to be here, but in saying that, I am really missing my BENS kids & families . Please give them all a big cuddle from Nanny Brooke & let them know she misses & loves them.
