Each night before I went to bed, Id lay out my clothes that I planned to wear the next day so it was all ready when I woke up, ready to seize the day! This image I took for @formaecollective kind of reminds me of that habit and made me giggle a little bit. Did anyone do that, or was it just me? haha

15.01.2022 Wowwee, Ive been quiet on my account for some time! I went from shooting 4-6 times a week, to 0. It was pretty damn scary at first, and I know there are many out there in the same boat! I knew that this whole lock-down thing was going to be temporary, and that I needed to take advantage of this bad situation and turn it into a positive. I didnt want to reflect back on this time in the future and regret wasting it. ... With my time I have done online courses to upskill myself. Started a second business @social_gals_club. Started the process of releasing a podcast (watch this space). And much more. I even got to the point of ambition where I created such a large to-do list for myself that I unintentionally ended up with anxiety. Now Im not telling you this story to gloat about how awesome and productive Ive been...in fact, quite the opposite. Ending up with anxiety taught me that there is nothing wrong with taking this time to relax. When I gave myself the permission to watch Netflix, read a book, do puzzles, sleep in, my mental state improved dramatically! So I guess what Im trying to say is, do what feels right for you. Dont look at the person next door and think that you need to be doing the same. Some days we can be productive, other days we can just watch it go by - and that is okay! In the past week, Ive already started to see a change. Work has started to pick up again! Here is a shot of the beautiful Amelia Stubbs from a recent campaign with Genevieve Swimwear. Keep your chin up, well all get through this together, one day at a time

14.01.2022 Help thy neighbour. What a strange time were all currently experiencing right now. I think it is important to remind one another that we are all in this together and to get this "Every-Man-For-Themselves" mentality out of some people heads. Dont see lockdown as a curse, see it as an opportunity. What can you do in isolation that will help better yourself?

Brooke did an amazing job of capturing the beauty and essence of the work with superb clean and natural photos. She has a talent for architectural detail. We will definitely be working with Brooke again soon!

03.01.2022 One of my favourite things when photographing food (apart from eating it) is creating actions. Pulling something apart, cutting something open, pouring dressing over it, scooping it up, dipping it in...and so on. I believe it makes for a more interesting and appetising photograph
