24.01.2022 The amazing complexity and health benefits of breastmilk and breastfeeding... https://youtu.be/4m7GO6S6BW8

24.01.2022 Once thought to be very safe, the frequent use of Panadol is now being questioned, especially in children. Luckily there are many natural alternatives @ Cudgen, New South Wales, Australia

22.01.2022 8 years of I Love You’s and I still love you more every day @dane_keillah

22.01.2022 Happy 2nd wedding anniversary baby @dane_keillah I still love you more and more each day. You are one amazing man! X

20.01.2022 Don’t look away, don’t deflect responsibility and assume someone else will fight for these kids, because by doing so you are contributing to their ongoing suffering. By staying ignorant or silent you are partaking in this cruelty. Educate yourself! Wake up! Speak out! I have recently been looking into child trafficking and it is rampant! Millions of babies and children are being born into this, abducted and/or sold to the highest bidder, and the abuse befalling these children... is unspeakable. Horrors you cannot fathom. Australia is one, if not the worst country participating in this pedofile ring. There are thousands of people involved and they have infiltrated Child Services, schools, charities, orphanages, churches, law enforcement, the judicial system and parliament. Please look into this yourselves and do what you can to help. Even if it is just creating awareness. These kids need a voice, their stories need to be heard, they need to be saved! Here are some of the people who have survived and are putting their lives on the line by coming forward. Search them on Duck Duck Go and Bitchute (not Google or YouTube as those sites are heavily censored) listen to what they have experienced and decided if you can allow this to keep happening. Rachel Vaughan, Fiona Barnett, Sarah Ruth Ashcroft, Gabriel and Alisa Dearman, Anneke Lucas, Ronald Bernard, Richard Kerr, Anne Marie van Blijenburgh, Toos Nijenhuis. The more awareness we create, the harder it is for these criminals to continue to traffic, abuse and murder children. Please take a few hours out of your privileged lives (me included) to do some research and be brave enough to speak up for these kids who are being rapped and tortured, and have no voice of their own. Don’t turn away, the children need your help and they need it now . Please share this post as much as possible. See more

16.01.2022 Echinacea for Mastitis... once again this incredible herb swoops in to save the day (or the boob in this case). Renowned for its immune enhancing activity, echinacea can quickly upregulate the production of immune cells, helping the body identify and destroy pathogenic organisms causing infection. This is perfect for the treatment of infectious mastitis. However, pathogenic infection is not always present in mastitis, it may simply be the result of a blocked milk duct. Echina...cea has an affinity for lymphatic tissue (found in high amounts in breast tissue), increasing the activity of lymphocytes (a white blood cell/immune cell). By stimulating lymphatic activity, echinacea can help to reduce inflammation in breast tissue, as well as improve lymphatic drainage. I speak from personal experience when I say this herbal remedy is extremely effective and works very quickly. It’s is also very safe for breastfeeding mothers and infants. For the treatment of mastitis, echinacea needs to be prescribed in acute doses, which can only be done by a qualified Naturopath or Herbalist. The earlier treatment is started, the less severe symptoms will be, so contact your Naturopath or Herbalist at the earliest signs of breast tenderness See more

16.01.2022 Just a few tips... there are many many more home remedies, physical therapies and lifestyle practices, but I found these to be the easiest, most effective and inexpensive @ Cudgen, New South Wales, Australia

16.01.2022 You may have noticed that lately I am voicing a lot of concerns about child safety, mainstream media and our political system. I am aware this is confronting for a lot of people and the last thing I wish to do is make anyone upset. My hunger for knowledge and truth recently lead me down a path where I discovered information I could not turn away from. A fire ignited within me driven by a force I’d never felt before... the mother. The mother within me rages against the atrocit...ies befalling children in Australia and around the world. Her fury compels me to do everything I can to try and save them. I can empathise with those of you who are not ready to fight, to stand up, be brave and speak out. It is a terrifying thing standing up to a bully. But the mother in me cannot turn away from these kids, so if you wish to unfollow me I understand. I will continue to fight for the children. I hope they can hear me. I will fight for you! I will be your voice. I will continue to shine light on the darkness. I will not let you be forgotten, ignored or dismissed as a conspiracy theory. To all those who stand with me, thank you. I will continue to post about natural health and pregnancy, though there will be there will also be some information concerning the wellbeing of humanity See more

15.01.2022 A week to remember, to mourn, to recognise struggles and acknowledge achievements, a week to come together as a nation and embrace our country’s long history and culture... always was, always will be

15.01.2022 Have you been told that there’s nothing you can do to prevent pre-eclampsia? That you’re more likely to have it in your first pregnancy, especially if the woman in your family have had it? That hospitalisation and pharmaceutical medication are your only options for treatment? Well... I beg to differ! Here are some things you can implement in early pregnancy to reduce your risk of developing pre-eclampsia... Remember, prevention is better than cure

15.01.2022 Now taking bookings for February 2021

14.01.2022 Pregnancy should be enjoyable, not sufferable. There is no reason our bodies should not breeze through every stage of foetal development... if we’re prepared. I believe preconception care is the most important part of pregnancy. It will determine how well we cope with 9 months of pregnancy and 3 months of postpartum. Ensuring our body is free of toxins and replete with nutrients goes a long way towards healthy birth outcomes for both mother and child. Specific nutrients are a...lso required throughout each stage of foetal development, and if there isn’t an ample supply of these, they will be depleted from the mother. If the mother is already depleted when she conceives, this will result in deficiencies in bub, some of which can be extremely detrimental. Worse case scenarios aside, don’t we want to enjoy and flourish at this special time in our lives? Brooke Lee Naturopathy is now taking expressions of interest for pregnancy programs launching in 2021. If you or someone you know is planning on starting a family next year, please head to the brookeleenaturopathy.com specialties page and fill in an inquiry form for the package best suited to your needs. All entries between now and September 2019 will go into a lottery for a chance to be selected for 50% off their ideal package. There can only be one winner per package (3 in total), however all those who register will receive a 10% off voucher, should they wish to use this in the future. Please share the love... tagging your friends in this post might just improve your chances of winning See more

13.01.2022 Folate... the most prescribed nutrient in pregnancy, but what do we really know...?

10.01.2022 What a crazy time to bring a child into this world... prenatal care is pretty much all online or over the phone, you’re only allowed one support person with you at the birth, water immersion and use of showers is prohibited in some hospitals, and women ‘suspected’ of having COVID will be required to wear a mask during labour!!! Could you imagine?! I would have died of asphyxiation. If you’re seeking a more natural alternative to prenatal care with in person support and guidan...ce, Brooke Lee Naturopathy offers a high standard of care for pregnant women and their partners. 10.01.2022 Many people have been asking about wild pregnancy and free birth in reference to my bio. I came across these terms while listening to the amazing @freebirthsociety podcast. Essentially a wild pregnancy is when a woman seeks no medical assistance. No pregnancy tests, blood tests, physical examinations, ultrasounds/dopplers etc., and just trusts the process of pregnancy completely. This may terrify some people, but I thinks it’s absolutely wonderful and fully support women who ...choose to experience their pregnancy in this way, offering guidance in herbal medicine, nutrition and education on the physical aspects of natural pregnancy. Free birth is when a woman chooses to birth without medical assistance, which again may terrify some, but I am all for women birthing how they choose. I know many women who have free birthed their children and a lot of them have felt a lack of support from healthcare providers. I’d like these women to know that I would be honoured to walk with them and share my wisdom. There are so many ways in which natural remedies can compliment fertility, pregnancy, birth preparation and postpartum healing. For those women out there who would like a bit more reassurance their pregnancy is tracking well, I can also refer for blood tests, check blood sugar and blood pressure, and listen for foetal heart tones, though I use a pinard rather than a doppler as emerging science is revealing just how harmful ultrasound frequencies are. All women have a right to birth how they choose, and for those of you choosing to birth outside the medical system, I’d love to offer my support

06.01.2022 Vitamin D for babies and toddlers... Needed for proper growth and development of bones and teeth, adequate vitamin d levels help to increase absorption of calcium from food. It is also an essential part of a strong immune system, required for the function of T cells, B cells and antigen presenting cells. Vitamin d plays a role in the modulation of both innate and adaptive immunity. Children’s adaptive immune responses are continually developing until adulthood. ... Vitamin d is not widely available in foods. Our body synthesises it after sun exposure. It is labeled a vitamin, but actually functions more as a hormone. So how much sun does a baby/toddler need? It differs with skin tone. The fairer the skin, the less sun exposure needed. Daily sun exposure is best, though it is important to ensure the skin doesn’t burn. 20-40 minutes of sunshine, with access to intermittent shade is a good guideline.

06.01.2022 For those of you who have missed this face... I’m back! Home clinic is now open for in person consultations. 04.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who has registered their interest in my upcoming pregnancy packages for 2021. If you haven’t had a chance to register yet there is still time.. . . . . ... 03.01.2022 Today I learned the meaning of Altruistic... Unselfishly concerned for or devoted to the welfare of others (opposed to egoistic). To me this describes motherhood. Also mum’s, sometimes it’s fun when, someone asks you what you do, to answer... oh well, I’m just a portal for new life on earth.

02.01.2022 I am so overwhelmed by the response I’ve had to my 2021 Pregnancy Packages, all pre-sale packages have been fully booked! 02.01.2022 Never enough kisses!

02.01.2022 Any other breastfeeding Mummas out there feeling motivated to do f*ck all . Well you might be interested to know that it’s not just because of those sleepless nights. Breastfeeding women produce high amounts of a hormone called prolactin, which is responsible for breastmilk production. High prolactin levels inhibit production of the neurotransmitter responsible for feelings of motivation, dopamine. So when your sitting on the couch nourishing your baby, looking down at y...our beautiful postpartum curves, rolls and dimples, thinking ‘I should really go for a run’... your follow up thought can be a big guilt free ‘F THAT!’ ...all thanks to prolactin. And mummas there is a reason your body is sending messages to your brain telling you to take it easy! It’s because you’re already doing enough, you’re giving enough, you are enough. It’s time to relax and enjoy this special time in your life. There’s plenty of time for that run when you’re finished being the creator of the most nutritious food known to man . I should note that there is a condition knows as dysphoric milk ejection reflex (DMER) and for some women, dopamine drops excessively, and the resulting deficit causes a range of symptoms, including depression, anxiety, anger and self-loathing. If this is happening to you, seek professional advice on how to balance your prolactin and dopamine levels. Naturopathic medicine can help with this. I should also mention that daily gentle exercise such as walking, yoga, swimming etc. is essential to maintaining health and may even increase milk supply, however there is no need for excessive physical activity at this time. Be gentle with yourself. See more
