We tend not to feel it as much if we have a birthday or an anniversary or a celebration of some kind. Right? ... But what about celebrating you? What about taking care of you? What ever the reason you need to find, find it because taking care of yourself should always be your first priority. How do you expect to take care of those around you if you burn out? On a side note, and I really feel like my generation and the generation before me, (so those of us from say 15yrs old to 30 yrs old), really understand that we only get one life. 04.01.2022 Well.... 2020 has been a crazy ride for all of us. With highs and lows, it will certainly be a year we remember. I used to think that talking about your success and happiness was boasting. (I mostly put that down to being surrounded by the wrong people). But if I’m being honest, I still feel like that sometimes. Especially this year! Although I am so very proud of myself I am not going to post my 2020 highlights this year because I feel others have had some great lows t...o which I feel deeply for. My heart truely goes out to all of you who have not gotten to see loved ones, lost your jobs, put off weddings, not been there to see births of babies close to you, lost loved ones and/or been away from your partners/family for great lengths of time.
