25.01.2022 As you all know these are crazy times for small business Heres a quick update on Brookfield Maze CLOSED We are sorry to say Brookfield Maze is still Closed.... WHY At this stage the covid-19 government restrictions means its NOT financially VIABLE for us to open yet. RESTRICTIONS Once the government lift restrictions on number of people AND we have implemented all the Mandatory government health requirements, we will be able to re-open. We are actively working on this. WHEN OPEN At this stage we think that we will re-open in August. POSITIVE On a positive note Eryl has seized this opportunity to do some much needed maintenance work and gardening and the place is looking fantastic. 23.01.2022 Harley had a trim today. He is about 8 tall. Almost fully grown.. Eryl normally does the trimning but thought i would have a go.

23.01.2022 Brookfield Maze REOPENS today at 10am after our summer break. We have been busy in the garden (well Eryl has !) Maze pruned. Interestingly we have had so much rain that we haven’t had to water so the garden looks fantastic. We managed to squeeze in a small holiday for our 39 Wedding anniversary, so it was nice to have a swim in the beach.... Come and check us our, it’s great fun for all the family Jeff and Eryl

We are NOT in a fire watch & act zone and are not effected by bush fire (other than smoke) Like many others our business is suffering from low visitation. If you are wondering what you can do to support people in the country, come and support a small business in a small country town. come and help us get back on our feet.... Brookfield Maze has lots to offer all ages - there is something to do for every one. We have a Cafe with delicious meals, Perfect coffee, local wines, a Hedge Maze, Garden walks, Giant Chess and Checkers and the very popular Ancient brick labyrinth. It also has a negative effect for tourism in regional areas, even if your business is not affected by the fires. Due to the fires Brookfield Maze, Cafe and Guest House visitation has dropped to zero.Normally our busiest season. It's tough because we can't employ staff and still get the overheads for maintaining our business. Brookfield Maze is NOT currently in the Watch and Act zone for Whitf...ield and not under risk of fires at present, if this changes we post a message.
